It's unfortunate that Noah did not have a good series because basically everyone else in FNC was playing really well. Oscarinin, Jun and Humanoid in game 2 were insane.
They took turns inting. Let's not call out a specific player Noah had his moments same for Jun, Razork, Oscarinn and Humanoid. Game 1 Jun was not good, but game 2 he carried hard imho. Humanoid had a great game 1 and game 2 but got dominated and inted his ass off in game 3. Oscarinn was good in game 2 but in game 1 he was invisible and game 3 ughhh what a tragedy. This was a fun and competitive series. Humanoid, Jun, and Oscar played really well! Good series.
Yeah, the problem is, i view fnc as a team that can take games of everyone when they really want to, but i can just as easily see them lose to loud ngl xdd
@@nepchan2086 you're correct; just because they took a game off TES doesn't mean they won't randomly decide to sprint it vs LLL. If Humanoid and Oscar decide to int, then Loud could absolutely take their head off, especially since neither team is good at Macro per se
The one thing I'll say about these series: TES does not fuck around in draft. They actually prepared against Loud and Fnatic, denying the K'Sante, banning Robo champs. These mates are in the right grindset.
Obviously it's not the only reason they lost but I can't help but be angry at the Humanoid tp interrupt on 369, 369 was 100% dead there if he completed the channel even his teammates gave up, that was (unless a miracle steal by Tian) 100% FNC's Baron straight after and a huge tempo swing... Tian inted, Creme inted and Humanoid played very well but JKL gapped Noah so hard that in the end it didn't matter. I also think 369 was too humble here picking K'Sante twice. He could have picked something more lane dominant and gapped Oscar.
@@MagonTheConquerorTheir R45 pick in game 2 was so bad. They didn’t ban LeBlac after what happened game 1 and used their R5 counterpick for Ahri which makes no sense. Humanoid would have picked LB anyways. If they R4’d Ahri and left the counterpick slot to 369, top lane would not get out of hand by mid game.
I really think that drafts might be the issue for EU and NA, the idea that the enemy team has the same macro as you so you basically just sack the game and all in on a niche strategy. I think they should have just run back the second game comp cause that's what worked. Or learn to play Varus Ashe, cause if you're on the winning side of the match up maybe you can turn that in to more series wins by Fnc
I think It's a lack of team Identity, most teams don't even know what their strengths are, or their win cons if the western team knows how to win early they can't close the game consistently enough for it to matter, and if they know how to close they consistently bleed too much resources early for it to matter. I think It's a lack of creativity In terms of drafting for your team to have unique ways of playing the game. Because time and time again it has been proven the west can't win by playing the same game as the east, they seem to be mechanically better, they have better game macro and general game knowledge it seems the only thing I think the west might be better in right now is building items on champions. G2 seems to be the only western team with an idea on how they want to play the game and that's why they might make a small dent on MSI. So I agree drafting is one of the problems but a fairly small one in the bigger scheme of things.
@@Kurtofon Nah drafting was a big issue in fnc's loss this series. They lost game 1 because they played hard into a lane swap they couldn't rely on, and even so, humanoid LB nearly bailed them out. Game 2 they had a solid draft and no need for lane swaps, and they played for a clear win con through humanoid diffing. Despite having success in the first two games with humanoid on LB, enhanced with a relatively strong early botlane, and a strong scaling/carry toplane in game 2, they still completely changed their gameplan and picked a tank-based, 3 lane-losing teamcomp with no real long term plan beside praying to get a successful laneswap off.
