Tbf LJL is pretty much a fake region, the standard 5v5 mode is largely considered a クソゲ, or shit game here because they never had region IP blocking. The Garena server was complete shit back then so the JP server was flooded with Vietnamese players (still is) and most Japanese players thought it was a joke that only one or two teammates could actually understand the chat. Now TFT is actually quite popular with tons of whales with their chibi skins but there’s pretty much zero Japanese 5v5 playerbase or viewership.
