  • Vitamin B12 deficiency is a serious medical problem that affects an estimated 48 million Americans. If left untreated, this condition can cause irreversible damage to nerve cells and other co-morbidities. Most people - even those who are at highest risk like the elderly and those with gastrointestinal problems - aren’t aware of the detrimental effects that a deficiency in vitamin B12 can have on their overall health.

That has to be the absolute worst information on B12 deficiency also the signs and symptoms there are signs and symptoms much earlier that don’t have to do with some drastic show of deficiency
How come these doctors didn’t mention anything about your nails it’s one of the first things that they’re trying to look for or look at skin hair what about burning feet burning tongue swollen red tongue sores on the tongue lacerations on the tongue none of this was mentioned burning of the hands it’s not just to be one deficiency
your B vitamins are very important
I wasn’t impressed at all I would definitely fire them if they were my doctors they’re just pushing the drugs that they are sponsored by and got paid to talk about Hippocrates would be really upset I can tell you that
Causes of deficiency I’m surprised they didn’t mention vegans and vegetarians ‘cause they claimed that the only place you can get it is from animal products meaning animal flash and by products which is not true
But that’s what they commonly say
They also didn’t talk about the severity and the potential of death before you ever get to dementia or Alzheimer’s because a B12 deficiency can show up as pernicious anemia which indicates that you are B12 deficient and of course there’s iron deficiency which is also anemia and then there’s megoblastic anemia didn’t talk about none of it they also didn’t talk about the possibility of a person having severe respiratory issues which is connected to the B12 deficiency known as pernicious anemia
I’m not surprised but these are the kind of people we don’t need the representative of the medical community who claim to care have taken an oath on the creed that was written by Hippocrates in order to become eligible for licensure as a physician. Unfortunately these boobs are trusted with peoples lives there almost worship like gods and yet they’re not looking out for you people they’re looking out for their pocket receiving lots of special privileges for sponsoring certain drugs or supplemental companies
Listen if you have a b 12 deficiency the hell with everyone go get a shot
And stay on the shots until at least a year is gone by and then make sure that your level stay at a good place
In other words maintenance shots and try to learn as much as you can within that time on what other places you can source be 12 from it doesn’t require someone to surrender their life as a result of you surviving and also work on your gut make sure that you have enough hydrochloric acid take digestive aids gonna help you because they have digestive enzymes in them just take responsibility for your own well-being because you can’t trust other people I don’t care what titles they have or what initials they have after their name

also fyi if anyone uses nitrous oxide recreationally, it can cause irreversible b12 damage. amazing to think people can do this without even knowing it just by huffing whip cream gas but its real. this thread makes me angry toward people who do it to themselves when so many are suffering with medical problems and didn't just huff nitrous.

How effective is this tablet though? Has anybody used it??
I've read SO many articles that say that injections are still far more effective than any tablet. That they're just pushing tablets now because the costs are cheaper for the NHS/medical system (but the patient continues to suffer) :(

I'm in the UK and have just started B12 injections last week. I was prescribed the tablets but after a blood test it was found by my lovely GP that I needed the injections, she explained that I obviously had an issue that prevented the tablets from working. Had 2 last week and having another tomorrow. Hoping to feel better very soon.

The clue is in the sponsorship banner, it was Eligen b12, & clearly part of their product launch, but I can't find much trace of it, so I guess it didn't make it to the market. Having said that, I would doubt it applied to PA sufferers.

Because of our so called cleanliness..we eat sterilized food and water almost..

Alcohol And Simple carbs along with processed food can destroy your gut plus if you drink alcohol you flush away vitamins especially this melting in water. Alcohol is damaging nerves, high carbs creates inflammation coffee and tea in high volumes flushes vitamins too. And if dont eat meat fish And eggs you dont give your body Wit b.
