underlever cocking is more efficient because at the end of the powerstroke when is the hardest to push the leverage ratio is highest
3 года назад+1
This cocking mechanism is very effective and can be pulled up with 2 fingers. The ratio really improves with the lower layout and the grip doesn’t have to be released. There are only a lot of moving parts, in the adder the magazine also moves the trigger mechanism .... In this solution, everything is fixed like a traditional crossbow and only the frame moves. 5 seconds / shot target fire speed goes easily, without haste. I think I could do it in 3 seconds, I'll give it a try.
That's just awesome. I'd love to get something like this some day for pig hunting, or just archery in general.

Thank you very much Pig hunting, however, requires a large crossbow. A model from around 400 fps from one of the manufacturers. Uh, he talks now, very good :) Seems like a very sophisticated mechanical design. Runs very smoothly, well done. I think the design is a bit bulky, but I guess that is hard to avoid with so much functionality put into a small frame. There is certain things that could be simplified or improved upon. For instance the bayonet. Usually they are not fixed onto rifles but have quick-mounting systems that requite no tools or removal of bolts or anything. But I get its just a gimmick, so its probably a bit too much to invest too much time into designing such a minor detail. Also I am not a fan of this bulky box magazines on top. Perhaps a bolt-feeding from below is possible? But I don't want to criticise too much, just suggestions for possible future ideas. Apart from work on the design this would totally be a product that could be sold. This thing is awesome, well done mate.

Thanks So I didn't want to mess with a bayonet lock, the knife already had two holes in the right place, so the solution gave itself: 2 screws and you're done :) I definitely wanted a horizontal double-edged blade for it. In the case of a lower magazine, there would be no shotgun-like stock, it would be more difficult to dispense because you also have to work against gravity. reddot has to be done for something anyway ...
Effective and brutal,a dream weapon, love from China. While the stock seems to be not that suitable for bayonet combat. Look forward to your full-auto crossbow.

thanks It's a small compact weapon. A long rifle is, of course, more suitable for a bayonet, but I didn’t want to build it long enough to be used indoors, for example. The full auto crossbow can only be solved with some powerful electric motor ....
