Wow I started playing this game and I'm at level ranging from 12-15. I wasn't going to even get that dancer character but I am now! this is going to be insane! Thx man you just got my sub!
The first time I saw a Cait, I literally ran into a Cait in back to back fights, but since at the time I didn't know how to defeat them and was trying physical attacks, both of them fled before being hit a single time. I haven't encountered a single one since. I have played an additional 7 hours
I cant believe i just try farming in this cave when i found a cait i use the dancer skill and it give me 100x Exp now my mainly character have been leveled up from level 23 move to level 60
Better play normally until reaching maw of the ice dragon dungeon (level 45), there the encounter rates for all 3 caits in a single fight is quite high, in fact the highest compared to other places. But ofcourse whenever there are caits just quickly kill them with hannit's arrow storm or use medium or large soulstones (doesnt matter what element), if theres enemy(ies) alive just keep using bewildering grace x4 until getting exp x100. Therion, tressa, primrose and hannit are the best party, therion as leader open purple chests, steal npcs, bosses and caits, tressa uses collect from bosses and caits as well as her skill that wanders around to get more money, primrose to get exp x100, hannit to spam arrow storm.
bewildering grace is garbage, on average it slows down your exp gain, this has already been tested out a long time ago. And in the early game, the best team to level up fast is actually Tressa Cyrus Therion and H'aanit...
@@Marcv1285I would say yes in normal battle using Bewildering Grace is not worth it if she goes last but 3 cait are different they byfar out exp every single enemy so if you can do exp x100 then do it cuz if you get lucky you would jump up a fair few dozen level
@@Megaman-2407 stop spreading misinformation, and do the math. Bewildering Grace is garbage even if you get yourself the 3 caits. With a good setup it will be way faster to just one-shot all enemies rather than spend time casting bewildering grace. I've done the solo low level run (tressa beating her final boss at level 12, having experiement a lot with the skill to get JP x100). It can take on average 4-5 hours just to get the X100, if you spend that much time just killing normal enemies by one-shotting them you'll easily do 2-3 times the amount of exp you'd do by having x100. Also you have way higher odds of killing your party with bad luck using Bewildering Grace than to hit x100. Also by using the accessories + passive (Captain's Badge & Extra Experience) which gives +100% exp together, because bewildering grace multiplier adds up only to the base exp value, this mathematically reduce significantly the value of bewildering grace by almost 50%. Bewildering Grace = GARBAGE ON FIRE. The only useful way of using this skill is in a low level run like this one: ruclips.net/p/PLlqQYZlPjTiUDAGhuptKPjEFIKyD5cCWD&si=ZSiEO_Z1GK8lhxYI (wanting JP x100, to learn your skills while limiting your intake of Exp).
Honestly, this makes Bewildering Grace look better than it really is. It can just as easily kill you instantly... Which is no fun for anyone. Although it is hard to argue with at least trying to get an Exp multiplier if you get a Cait. Definitely wouldn't bother defending & trying over and over again in a regular battle.
Someone did a video testing this after hours and hours of grinding & shows that it's actually better to just farm battles vs Defending & waiting for Bewildering Grace to give an Exp buff. They are just too rare to it be worth doing that & the boost not enough to make it worth it. The ONLY time you may want to try for it is when you've already defeated a Fat Cait & in that case it might be worth trying it several times to get an Exp boost. Otherwise it's not really worth bothering with in normal fights, specially if you can just shred the enemies in a single turn. If you can't then sure, go ahead & use Bewildering Grace once & if you get a modifier great, if not don't bother trying again. As I said you'll earn more Exp just fighting normally most of the time.
Seems like Hired Help using the cheapest summons would be very effective here when used with Boost x4. These enemies are weak to Swords so this would probably be VERY potent & only costs $150 per. Might actually wipe these mobs in one fell swoop or at least come close to it.
I went in, Got mr cat around 5 - 10 fight. Stacked up BGrace bp 5 - used it -> all enemies dead, cat alive. Rose killed my Olberic XD - gave a lot of debuffs on pt. Exp x 3 - Cat was evolved to form 2 - and run away. 300 exp Next time I met him - used stone - killed him. Killed all enemies except 1 - BGrace - 4 levels in one fight. Went in around 23 lv - few fights 30 - 31 lvl. Good times
Hi you got a new subscriber in me. Haha. Am I doing something wrong, primrose rarely does the xp thing. And if she does it's just 2x. I'm grinding for an hour but was only able to get the 2x xp twice.
It's insanely dependent on your Bewildering Grace luck. Extra XP? Great! Set your entire team to 1 HP and get yourself killed? Not so great. Bewildering Grace basically sets a random effect, positive or negative, onto your team or your enemies. These range from massively helpful to terribly annoying to nothing at all. The chances also depend on boost level, with higher boost levels affecting the chances like so: Strong Positive Effect chance increases with boost from 10% to 20.7%. Weak Positive Effect chance decreases with boost from 55% to 44%. No Effect chance decreases with boost from 10% to 4.8%. Weak Negative Effect chance decreases with boost from 25% to 22%. Strong Negative Effect chance increases with boost from 0% to 8.5%. How you get massive amounts of XP/JP is by getting the 0.1% chance at max boost to get x100 XP/JP.
You're only getting 2x cus you probably aren't using it Boosted. To get 5x or better you have to be using it with a Max Boost, otherwise you'll only ever get 2x, and even then it doesn't happen all the time. It's honestly kind of a waste of time to use Bewildering Grace as you could simply be farming more fights instead of wasting time Defending & using Bewildering Grace over and over til you get a small multiplier. Not only that, but it can kill you or inflict bad status effects on you too!
Yes, unfortunatly you have to grind your ass off. Playing it now for 18 hours and I think I'm going to quit the game. Dont get me wrong it is a really great game reminds me of my childhood with all the graphics and effects. But enemies do not give much of exp and you need to Grind here to go on with the Story.

Sadly, party members who are on the bench don't gain experience unless they're active, so this can only work for the characters you need to pull this off. Olberic, Ophilia, Therion and Cyrus are screwed.
This is garbage. Bewildering Grace actually slows down your leveling progress. This has already been tested out a long time ago. The best party setup to level up in the early game is actually Tressa, Cyrus, Therion and H'aanit. There are far better ways to level up fast in this game. It should take less than 1h15 to start from the beginning, acquire your full party and gear them up with insanely good stuff. Then from level 10 you go kill stuff in Tomb of Kings for 5 minutes just to level up to somewhere around level 18-19, the important thing is just to learn Percipience support skill and that's all you need to start in Maw of the Ice Dragon.
