I have been trying this for 3 days now. It's a perfect breakfast for me. A very small portion of this is very filling. I think is because of the thick almond milk, cashew and the fact that oats is more or less raw. So it stays in stomach and digests slowly. I thought I might get some bloating or gas issues. But there are none. The only change I do is that I add the banana only when I take it out from the fridge in the morning. Don't know whether this lessens any of the benefits. But works for me.

This bfast is so so filler that u don't get hungry. I give it my twist with seasonal fruits like mango, apple etc. And different nuts like almonds, walnuts, for sweetner i mostly add kishmish.

Hi Mam, I have tried this recipe before my pregnancy. I enjoyed making this quick dish. I left it alone during pregnancy for few reasons. Now that I am a new mom of 20 days, can I start eating this? I am a breastfeeding mom.. I know it involves nuts which I am not allergic to, but need to see how baby reacts to nuts.. I am concerned if oats can be consumed by breastfeeding mom. Will be looking forward for your reply.

You can have this anytime provided the oats are soaked overnight it is not a medicine that needs to be eaten empty stomach.
