I picked up a Black Forever 65 from r/MM for $475 and then got the PCB Millmaxed at Loobed Switches for $30. The typing test in this sounds basically identical to what it sounds like in real life! I'm using a POM plate + Epsilons (stock) and it's probably the most comfortable board I've ever typed on. Broke my typing record on it first test too 😂
Great Video. I have this board and love it. I appreciate what DM did so people can get a chance to get a premium board w/o having to wait or pay a lot in the after market. Thanks!
I just built my white one today. POM plate with oil kings and GMK Digital Nightmares. It's expensive, but it sounds incredible and I think it's worth it tbh. So clean and poppy, no hollowness, endgame material for sure. Quality video as always sir, but wouldn't mind the typing sound section being a little longer. Need some time for my ears to chew on it, you know? 😁
Yeah for sure bro. I'll put out the long version tomorrow if possible. The rain why it's so short is because people seem to abandon it after a few seconds
I just built mine and I agree that it's one of the best sounding and looking boards that I have ever owned. I would put this right up there with the pc moontower. It really is that good.
That Oil Kings build is something else, god damn. Cinematically this video is leaps and bounds ahead of your ordinary. Whatever you did here, keep doing it, this was amazing.
I'm actually really impressed with Keykobo! Legends are really good, a couple of symbols may be a bit closer to the edge than I'd like, but overall, great alternative to GMK. Sound is also very good, but I prefer GMK over all sets. And that may be how I'm programmed now.
I've taken multiple Korn and Kohaku Ls, so I picked this up in B-stock E-white and haven't had time to build it yet. The B-stock looks almost flawless too. Looking forward to it.
Does the left shift sound hollow, in Andy's video it sounds pretty bad to be honest, but in your video it's descent, I understand that it might be due to different build but still, have you done a force break on it or completely stock? Does the kohaku have similar weaknesses, meaning left mods sounding a bit off?
I didn't force break mine. I do find the left shift a bit weaker, so maybe I'll try to force break it, but honestly , it sounds pretty good as is. Kohaku mods are pretty even across the board.
@@Clackbait Would you say that Kohaku is engineered better and is still a better buy, of course considering if you can get your hands on one? If you could have just one 65% and be done, which keeb would you choose?
Really been looking for an end game 65% to get my hands on lately. I am between the Forever and the Orbit 65% which is in GB right now... Decisions, decisions...
I would personally go for the orbit, it just looks crazy nice to me, and the price for a copper bottom (which looks the best in my opinion) is much more stomachable, even more so if you go for the alu version.
Great question. Strip away the clout and just focus on sound and feel + quality, then it does. I'd say Singa is still a notch above, but it's the availability factor that I'm pointing out here. I appreciate you! ❤️
The sound is dope.. need a licence for that! May i know where did you get the spinning sphere that is featured in your video? Keep looking for something similar!
I don't really like this board, the design is alright but I've seen some suit my taste better for 300-350$, the sounds is meh and the weight(both internal and external) looks worse than somthing like the arc60. I wouldn't get this even for 400$ and that 550-600$ can be spent on a full brass neo87(9kg) or even kalam cult tkl full brass if you want to go the kalam way or even a vertex angle with that matrix lab coating tbh.
Basically all these boards are sought after because they are limited stock and unique design elements. Yiu are paying more for less. Lews material and less festures. They dont sound or feel better than any other aluminum option. They use the same poron gasket mounts, plates, etc. All that makes them sound different is your switch and foam selections. Not that sound should even be this damn important for a keyboard, a tactile INPUT device.🤦♂️ If someone is actually willing to spend thousands on these boards just go have one made. Any decent CNC shop can make these basic things.

This is a top 65% imo, i own two, but it’s comparable to any of the endgame boards in terms of sound and quality.

its not hotswap? yeah i'm good...
There are better options with that price point imo. And they should've made hotswap version of it.
The Chinese character and its font sounds and looks very lame for a native Chinese speaker. It is so lack of artistic feeling.
