@@pashon4percushonEdward needed no reassurance. It was Bryan rightly being that little kid saying, "Do the trick! Do the trick! Do it! Do it!" He wanted his guitar blessed by Ed's hands whether he could hear it or not.
This is the only way that I could ever watch a bryan adams video. I just don't care for his music, now Eddie on the other hand well that just goes with out saying. R.I.P. Eddie thanks for all the Awesome music.
It appears to me slowing this down either hes playing it differently or everyone has been transcribing it wrong. Its obvious everyone is looking at it strictly as a pattern that sounds right playing it fast when its about the rhythm that probably led to the evolution of the tricky pattern.
I don't know that Ed played EXACTLY the same rhythmic pattern every single time he played this live. It's so damn fast that there could well be subtle variations that to your ear are undetectable. When Iast saw him, he was ten feet away from me, and it looked and sounded to me like he was playing it as it was on the record, and the way that I learned it. As a player who has studied him for decades, I think he generally stuck to the same pattern and rhythm, but sometimes might vary one or the other slightly if the moment took him there.
I think I missed it exactly when I slowed it down. Its transcribed right most of the time from what I got now. I think some people miss or add a left hand mute in the wrong place once in awhile. Its amazing the older I get the more I hear the swing in everything which allows my brain to learn stuff much quicker. I used to hear just speed and patterns and the beat like most people. It didnt take me long to get as I concentrated on the rhythm, years ago I couldnt get the coordination. Im The One was beyond me. Recently I heard that swing differently picked up the guitar and it was no problem to play, blew my mind. Same thing with all of the rhythm for Beautiful Girls, and Hang em High. Its like Im hearing the swing inside of the groove Ive heard for years and can all of a sudden play his rhythms. Its freaky, i spent about two years with an injury where I couldnt play or do much. I laid around most of the time recovering listening to music and thinking imagining how to play certain things. Its weird, it changed my ability to hear and play now.

Eddie's smile tells the enthusiasm we feel in all his music. He is laughing music and will always be !!! WE ALL LOVE
You can tell Brian is a huge Eddie Van Halen fan. Cool video
"That's right, do it anyway!" That's exactly what I would say! Haha
And Eddie does it with a smile on his face and a twinkle in his eye. What a good sport he is!
he said "That's all right, do it anyway" reassuring him that mean street will still sound good on acoustic
@@pashon4percushon Is that what he meant?? I had no idea. Thanks for letting us all know how intelligent you think you are.

That's right anyway
Shame he didn't play the tapped part that follows it.
I'm so glad Bryan Adams met real Talent for once in his life! j/k
I know you’re just playing, mate… but his guitarist Keith Scott is a bad ass, too!!
