Welcome to my very first apartment all for me in Indianapolis, Indiana. I lived with my mom for 1 year after college. The last 5 months I saved to move out. I took half my paychecks and bought things for my future place. I had boxes of things all over my room for monthssss😂. But it was a great choice to buy all my things in advance.
I am still slowly adding more home touches and decorations. Stay tune for an updated apartment tour!

Now that I moved (only due to going out of state or i would have renewed). I feel safe to tell youtube this is called Villages of Bent Tree on 86th & Michigan ! lol lived here 3 years

I love how your space is so uncluttered and also warm and inviting. Some people's homes look so sterile because they go over the top hiding clutter but yours is beautiful. Congrats on getting a place of your own! (Even though I'm late)

“It’s more than Indiana out here in the world” I felt that (Indiana born and raised) Hey love have you tried visiting Goodwill? They have a lot of those plants 🌱 you want. Go on the first Saturday of the month for half off every price (Carmel has the best name brand purses etc) congratulations

Hey, i was wondering did you need to make 3 times the income to get approved for the apartment and if not has been a struggle afford one like this? What jobs out there even pay as much ?
They did a credit check & i had to show pay stubs for a few months but it didn’t strictly say 3 times income. It hasn’t been a struggle only because i had to get super responsible with spending and budgeting ! Like eating out less and cooking more. Also just ensuring i put money away for bills even if they aren’t due for 2 weeks or so! I would say look on Indeed and filter based on how much you would like to make per hour / how much you can afford a place with !

@@adorableallie Interesting because we hear so much about 3x the rent. Currently I have been narrowing down/looking at apartments for where I would move to if I left Alabama, and Indy is one of the final two cities on that list.

How much do you recommend saving for apartment in Indy ?
i would say about 600-900 a month for a place depending on your apartment style/location preference! But ones downtown are pricey about $1K +

@@akeemdavinci5608 I more so searched based on the location from my job and family ! I looked on Apartment List app and it was helpful. Some apartments were really nice and great area but too far for my liking lol
