Rowena sounded like a demanding A type personality sort of parent. She expected nothing but the best. Which would have put a lot of pressure on the child who may hadn't inherited her genius. At least that's what Dumbledore said. So, yes, she would have been very resentful towards her mother, who probably didn't even have the time to check on her daughter's wellbeing. Add how some of the kids would have been calling Helena rather dumb in comparison to her mom. The poor kid's life would have been hell living in the shadows of a legendary parent.
She is the definition of genius people problems case. She view the world differently (like any Ravenclaw) and kinda "detached" to the society even to her family. She was often too focus on her passion she forget what is the most important. Eagle that fly too high it forget to land and in the end fall to earth and die of exhaustion.

I wonder if Rowena married a male cousin, uncle or distant male relative who shared the same last name? Because Helena took her surname even though back then people took on the family name of their fathers and not mothers. Either that or Rowena's maiden name wasn't Ravenclaw, or she had Helena out of wedlock.
That shifting floor plan has always bothered me. A school requires the movement of large groups of people around the building on a regular basis. Wouldn't such a plan just make that less efficient, requiring more time between periods and increasing the chance of lost students and late arrivals?
Video idea for you to do: What additional effects do spells have that are not seen in the movies? For instance, what else can the patronus charm do besides ward off dementors?
So why wouldn't rowena become a ghost with the unfinished business and tragedy of which she died and then her daughter is a ghost at Hogwarts right? Then they could see each other. I'm confused about that cuz her daughter died outside of Hogwarts but she's a ghost inside of Hogwarts. Her mother died probably in side of Hogwarts but isn't a ghost in Hogwarts
Her mother's expectations were probably just to do her best and the thing that actually probably stressed her out the most was more of what everyone else thought you know how usually is they start looking at you and say oh you're going to be a bright wizard and your parent is like well it doesn't really matter as long as they're happy with what they do and then someone else keeps like saying the same thing with the next person and then the next person the next person eventually you start feeling like okay I have to get to at least that rank if not better even though you don't
Maybe it couldn’t be turned into one? It has a habit of disappearing so maybe when he tried to make it a horcrux it would disappear? But remember, snape had it hidden in Bellatrix bank safe, which is where they found the hufflepuff trophy.
Gryffindor Sword is kinda like a wand, sentient, and only a Gryffindor can use it. I'd say it can sense bad vibe from Tom. The others are just normal magical object. I actually wonder more why horcruxes were not everyday items. It's easier to keep them hidden.
@@zitronentee Regarding the last part my guess is Tom's pride is the reason why. He was arrogant and probably couldn't settle for any regular object as a horcrux. It had to be special and powerful to deserve his soul being sealed within. That also matches with the overall theme of his demise being caused by his own arrogance (underestimating Harry and especially Snape).
Plot twist: Slytherin is actually Herpo the Foul, still alive due to his horcrux, and has to periodically assume a new identity and backstory to keep from being discovered.
I have another question for you, that might be something to bring up in a future video: controlling someone and forcing them to do bad things is of course wrong, but why isn't the Imperius curse used under controlled forms at the Ministry to achieve great things you couldn't do otherwise? What I mean is that when you are under the Imperius curse, you are able to do things you never could before. For example, the book says that "Neville performed a series of quite astonishing gymnastics he would certainly not have been capable of in his normal state". Same goes for several others. What if you could use the Imperius curse to tell someone to invent some really great spell, potion etc. that would help he whole wizarding world, maybe even save multiple lives? If it is done only on people who volonteer out of their own free will, while supervised by professionals, who make sure the curse is only used for that purpuse and is lifted before they leave the ministry, wouldn't it have great potential? What do you think is the reason they never used this to put an end to deadly deseases and other problems they haven't been able to solve?

What if the one who wrote the book can't remember the name of the moment sorry was actually writing the story of how magic died because she does technically say that she is technically related to the Hufflepuff so what if it went all the way down to her and magic is now dead or close to it and that's why no one sees magic anymore

I hate the thought of u can't be a good parent and work really hard at a job. 1st of all ur not gonna be perfect at either and everyone has stuff from childhood that bother em. 2nd it's very hard to be good at either parent or employee all the time. To add them together exponentially increases the difficulty of everything but it can be done if ur conscious of how hard it is and strive to do ur best work hard as hell and be smart enough to seek help when needed. It's really really hard and I'm not a parent just wanted get that outta my head
