In 2022 PBIM, my friend from Algeria, ran full marathon in 3 hour 03 minutes barefoot. The foot were like new after the run. By the way i am that barefoot guy in 2024. Last year i did 3 hour 29.
@K1Runs 300 grams lighter i guess 🤣... When multiplied by 42,000 steps, save a lot of energy. I have no idea how everybody else is able to run Marathon with shoes.

@@kristinetang858 my friend Seddik Quel did 3 hour 03 barefoot PBIM 2022, his foot and soles were totally ok after the run. I think he holds the unofficial Malaysia fastest barefoot Marathon.
@kristinetang858 yeah My friend did really well. I was positive Covic exactly 1 month before the marathon. Can only finished 3 hour 49 due to crazy high heart rate. 178 to 195 after 17km...
Salute to the sandal guy especially Birkenstock and barefoot, but I wonder why they are doing so? Y-sandal at least is EVA sole the other two probably just make your feet suffer more pain are they trying to show off their ability even without proper running shoes or just want to train both physical and mental in the same time😅

@cwtjones omg 2022 was the first year post covid. I struggled during that race due to severe lack of training. Respect!
