@@Yoons.SillyStuffyeah that’s why the head is soft like that. You can get wig pins or I just use sewing pins & you want to pin them all over. I pin the very front, the sideburns, the crown, and the very back bottom at minimum. It’s the same concept as a dress form for sewing clothes..
Personally I don’t think it’s that shiny lol! At least not compared to wigs I’ve gotten from Amazon 🤔 And keep in mind, I have a ring light directed right at it in this video, so it looks different in real life and normal lighting~
Personally for that character I think a Dutch braid starting where you did with the fishtail would hold better and look more accurate. But it looks great, this was just a lil pick on my part lol

I don’t think I understand your question lol 🤔 I always start with untangling/brushing and straightening if needed, and that usually makes it a good base for whatever styling I need to do!
