What a beautiful wholesome film. No sex scenes, no swearing, no added homosexuality for the equal rights nor any other things not befitting. Thank you, I really enjoyed it. I have always loved Julie Andrews.

Love is just not for the young!! And it is great to see how the movie portrayed two lonely souls learning to love again even in their senior years. Have watched this before and will watch again.
Great movie. Does anybody know where I can find that great piece of music called "Seeing you" by Carmen Lundy in this movie ? I've been looking for it everywhere but sadly no joy.
At the same time, a romance between Julie and a younger guy would have been interesting.
After becoming middle-aged, I have begun to appreciate romance movies where love is not always portrayed as youth...

Aahhh. This is such a beautiful story. I understand their loneliness. My darling husband had dementia. We were married for 35 years and after dementia got her hooks into him, he did not know who I was. He passed away 9 years ago and I miss him all the time.

So glad that they found each other, and that the litttle sister turned out to be fearful, not bad, and the couple sorting their pain ot. The husband was a good man, caring, sacrificng and loving. I'd like to know why/how he was unfaithful.
Julie Andrews is a favourite, so humane, warm, empathetic, grounded, healthy, lovely and beautiful. That's for an untraumatized childhood.
This was so poignant for me as I lost my husband this year. Listening to them talk about their spouses was so moving.

Scary. Older sister decides to stuck at home and care for parents. She is telling herself she decided because of family blablabla and in the same sentence she blames her sister for choosing her own live far away. Well that’s gaslighting! Golden Child vs Scapegoat pattern. So sad. So common in many families… happy thanksgiving.
