- Any Which Way You Can is a 1980 American action comedy film directed by Buddy Van Horn and starring Clint Eastwood, with Sondra Locke, Geoffrey Lewis, William Smith, and Ruth Gordon in supporting roles. The film is the sequel to the 1978 hit comedy Every Which Way but Loose.

Why do these fight scenes seem more realistic than todays action
I remember being 7yrs old when this movie came out..I loved the movie so much and I still have vivid memories of watching this on HBO..the only way you could watch HBO back in the late 1970’sbwas with this little box that you plugged into your television and it had a little black switch to turn it on and a red glowing light would shine when it was turned on.I remember telling my mom to “Be quiet” because “My movie” was on..😅
I remember the same thing man those were better days buddy ,I remember stealing the strawberry milk cartons in school becouse my little buddy timmothy was in a wheel chair so all the other kids would race to get there first and he would always be stuck at the back of the line so I got us both 2 so it was nice surprising Timmy with that man ,he was a cool kid he always helped me in school I wasn't so smart but he was a good friend and I'll always remember that

I was 7 when this movie came out. I loved it and still do! I then saw Any Which Way you can in the theatre.
The guy that Clint fought (actor Dick Durock) played the imperious leader and also a Cylon in the original battlestar Galactica, And also he played the monster in swamp thing
He was also the evil hulk in the incredible hulk tv show episode titled the First. There's was 2 parts.

My Grandfather was 5 feet 4 and weighed 10 stones 10 pounds. A small man in stature, but an absolute lightning fast fighter.
My dad told me a story about when on a Sunday, they where on Canal Street in Manchester, before it was the gay area, and the horn got stuck on his car. Now whe are talking about 1930s Manchester . 4 men decided to make a problem because the horn was sounding very loudly. My Grandfather Jim McClean, said to them don't worry I'll sort it out and pulled the wires from the horn.
Then he proceeded to ask them if they still had a problem, which they did . So therefore a fight broke out and my Grandfather put 4 of them to sleep.
This a true story that my father, also Jim McClean, told me on many occasions.

A Great flick for the Times, and apparently Clint Eastwood knew what the Public craved for Entertainment at that Time. And He also was preceptive too what the Movie Studio's exec's would Spend or allow Himself and the Other Director's to Spend.
Now in Our overly High inflated Time's. The Cost of thing's are 3-5 times Higher. So the given End product is a Helluva lot Less, in the End. Thank You Clint Eastwood for being True, Through n Through. God bless Him. 👍🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏👍

When these came out, Burt Reynolds sent Clint a telegram and said "If you keep making comedies, I'm gonna make Dirty Harry in Atlanta." Clint did keep making funny movies, so Reynolds made Sharky's Machine--one of the greatest cop movies of that time.
