BTS of the Red Glitter Tears in the making. ✨💧Leaving a step by step for this eye look below but first can we get a round of 👏🏻 for Hayley on the camera work & commentary here 😭
RED GLITTER TEARS
✨STEP 1: I started by mixing the @danessamyricksbeauty Colorfix Mattes in ‘primary red’ & ‘exposed’ to create a muted red.
✨STEP 2: I then started applying the colorfix matte mixture along the lower lashline using the 1.22 PRO @mykitco brush. PRO-TIP: I like to hit the lower lashes to create a soft cohesive look.
✨STEP 3: Once I’ve applied to the lower lash line, I then freehand the tears and tap with my finger to smudge them out creating that teary effect
✨STEP 4: Once I’ve create my tears, I like to go in with a q-tip or a small blending shadow brush to start smudging out the matte cream from the lower lash line bringing it down towards the undereye area a bit.
✨STEP 5: Once the base is finished, you can start going in with the glitter. For this look I used the @danessamyricksbeauty Bi-Pride Infinite Chrome Flakes and I gently tapped in the glitter flakes over the base using the 1.11 PRO liner brush from @mykitco.
✨✔️PRO-TIP: For this look, I wanted the red base & blue glitter to contrast each other in an interesting way so I didn’t cover the base with glitter but strategically left some areas more sparse than others. I started with a more dense glitter application at the lash line & the undereye area, then as we worked down the tear streamline, I used less glitter for the red to come through and really create that wet trail look you get with real tears. Lastly, I added more glitter to the very end of the tear stream as if it were a true teardrop that could physically drop off her face.
