LOLL....I was always frightened to fry fish, it always turned hard as leather after following recipes . From this presentation I picked up the gem piece of wisdom, I always marinated fish for a few hours thinking the flavours would seep into the flesh and the fried fish would turn up flavourful!! Guess I got it wrong all along, "sea food should not be marinated more than 30 mt"s. Thank you. Enjoy your classes Madam, very simple to follow (except the Recipe for Vandekka Mappas, you say two cups of Okra, it would help novices like me, if you gave the weights of washed and prepped ingredients instead of terms like cup full, this works well for ingredients like rice and pulses, but for ingredients like onions/shallots/ginger/garlic, terms like large/small or medium is a bit complicated requiring a few trials and errors and fixings..., just a suggestion). Noted your suggestions,thank you! When I say 2 cup okra, what I meant is after cutting measure it in a cup. I use standard measuring cup so that it will be accurate.😃🙏

It took me 5 months to finally try this recipe and it came out perfect. Very much tastier than the costly prawn pickles from shops. I had to add a bit more salt for my taste, rest of the ingredients measurements were just accurate.. Thankyou so much for this easy and delicious recipe.

Fry it till golden brown on medium high flame. Timing will depend on the frying pan, the quantity of oil etc. Usually 4-5minutes in total. Check one prawn in between to see if you can cut well with a spoon. Then it's done
