TURN SIGNAL FRONT BLINKER LIGHT REPLACEMENT CHANGE - 2012 Chrysler Town and Country Minivan (Easy!)
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 7 авг 2024
- Today I’m replacing my front turn signal blinker bulb on my 2012 Chrysler Town and Country minivan, this is also the same process to install or change a front turn signal bulb for a 2012 Dodge Grand Caravan as well. It’s an easy repair that anyone can make. If you are wondering how to replace the front turn signal blinker light in your Chrysler Town and Country here’s the steps:
Locate the turn signal blinker bulb behind your headlight
Turn the socket counterclockwise and gently pull back to remove it
Pull out the old bulb and gently push the new bulb in
Reinsert the socket and gently turn clockwise to lock back into place
The new bub you’ll need is a Sylvania 3757A, I’ve linked to it below. You might be able to find it cheaper online then in your local auto parts store.

How about showing how to change the side marker light for the left side marker on a T&C 2012?
Thanks so much for the help. I am an old lady and I was able to replace both of my front turn signal bulbs. I did discover one thing that made it a little easier. The light in our garage wasn’t great and I had trouble finding the hole when reinserting, the bulb apparatus. By shining my flashlight from the outside hole left when I removed the bulb and looking for the light under the hood it was much easier to replace the bulb in the right spot. Hope this helps another old lady :-)
Usually I have to wait for my husband to do this kind of stuff, and it usually involves many requests/reminders. Today I decided to try it myself, after watching your video. Success!!! I am empowered 😁.
That's awesome! Im glad you tried it! Way to go! Thanks for watching!
Too many simple how-to diy auto videos have annoying downtime, or steps are shown too quickly or slowly or at awful angles. This video did none of those things. A+ sir, well-done, big help!
Awesome! Glad I could help! Thanks for watching!
I have zero knowledge when it comes to car repairs. Fortunately you are well-spoken and make simple bulb replacement procedures easy to understand. THANK YOU!!
My little boy and I watched your video and went out and did it! Daddy will be surprised when he gets home.
That's awesome! Great job! Thanks for watching!
Thanks for sharing how to change that bulb! Five minutes later it is done!!
Thanks for the help, and more importantly thank you for not spending 10 minutes explaining how the car was made and what the manufacturing process is for lights! We came for instructions and we received instructions!
No problem 👍
Super easy to the point
Thank you! We were ready to take off the whole front bumper. You saved us from catastrophe!!!
You're welcome! I'm glad the video was helpful! It's always great when you don't have to take off a whole bumper!
Thanks so much! I'm a traveling artist and it went out last night traveling from Tempe to El Paso. I'm back in Ft. Worth now and was able to change it. Super easy. Thanks!
You're welcome!
A clear, complete, and succinct explanation. Took all of 5 minutes - paying attention to how the wires were aligned before pulling it out made it easy to realign the grooves when putting it back.
Worked like a charm. In fact, it was just a loose connection. After removing and reinserting, it works!
Thank you so much I was going to have a guy help me, but after I seen this video, I did it myself
Thanks Jeff for making this video so easy. I’m all for short and easy DIY videos. 🥰❤️ I’ll just add 2 pointers….Wear disposable gloves and use bulb grease on the bottom part of the bulb that goes in the connector. Have a very blessed day!!! 🥰❤️
The bulb replacement was easy on my 2010 Town and Country. The upper radiator hose is right where your hand needs to be, so on the right front you need to change the bulb when the engine is cold.
Thanks for a great video. You are a great teacher!
Steve from Florida
Thank you so much for this video. I was able to do this myself and it was super easy. I felt on top of the world when I successfully completed it!!!
You're welcome? I'm glad the video was helpful! It's a great feeling when you can do your own maintenance!
Helped me out!!! Got it with minimal effort thanks to you!!!!
Thanks so much for a short concuse video with good camera angles for this video. I have a 2013 year model. I was able to change this in 2 minutes after the confidence i had and watching your video just once. Thank you. I will try changing the cabin air filter next. My dealer said it needed changed.
Just wanted to say Thank you very much your video was great and key to helping this non-mechanic replace the blinker without having to call for back-up!!
Thanks to your video, I changed out my bulb! Again, thank you!
Thank you... need to change my 2010 Voyager turn signals , and this video was clear and easy for understanding 👍🙌
You're welcome! Good to hear! Good luck changing your turn signals!
I did it! Thank you for clear, easy-to-understand directions!
Awesome! You're welcome!
Simple, short video. Great explanation. Didn't know how to change a blinker 5 min ago, just finished changing it in the Auto Zone parking lot. Thanks big high 5!
Great job! Straightforward and didn't try to make it complicated or condescending. Thanks!
Yes, I followed your instructions and I was able to do the job. Thanks for explaining so clearly!
Jeff, Thank you for this video. I was worried about how to get the bulb out of the socket so the video helped! You are right about the corrosion. As it turned out, the local parts store sold me the wrong bulb. I was able to clean off the contacts of my old bulb. I reinstalled it, and now I have a working signal again.
Hey Phil, that's great to hear that you were able to clean the contacts of the old bulb and get it working again! Thanks for watching!
Thank yah mate, it was easy peasy and I didn't break the plug!

Thank you! Changed it in under 5 mins! You rock.
I did it! I did it! I am a 75-year-old who is young enough to be taught new trricks. My hands were also small enough to fit in the engine and grab and turn the light. I had a problem finding the spot to plug it back in, but I looked at the left front directional to see where it went back in. I was successful. Thank you for the video.
That's awesome to hear that you were able to have success changing your turn signal! I'm glad my video was helpful! Thanks so much for watching!

Thanks for the advice Jeff!! My change was plagued by a dropped bulb into the recess that hold it 😂!!! Luckily, like a “real man” would have, I had a small extension magnet and was able to coax it back it out and change it with ease!!!
You're welcome! I also worry about dropping the replacement bulb into areas I can't reach easily. A small extension magnet would get it back, thanks for the tip! I'm glad you were able to get it changed! I appreciate you watching!
Thanks!
Thanks
Super easy
Yes thank you I did get it done ✔ 😊
You are welcome!
Thank you Jeff. I succeed

@@TinkerForward Yes, it is. Thanks to you
Thank you so much…..I know very little about fixing cars yet your video EMPOWERED me, and I WAS SUCCESSFUL. If you are on Instagram I would love to tag you to my post.

You are very welcome! Thanks so much for watching, I'm Glad the video helped and I'm proud of you for doing your own vehicle maintence. Yep, I'm on Instagram @Tinkerforward
GOOD viedeo there is not much room to get a hand in there. The only other thing i would say is to spray the connection with electracle spray and try the signal before putting in back in the car. Good job
b
Is it the same on the driver side?
Replaced my turn signal bulb, and it still does not blink, looked for a fuse and did not see a fuse for the blinker, wondering if you had any suggestions.
So touching the bulb itself isn't a problem on blinker bulbs like it is on the headlight bulbs?
I changed the bulb but it's acting like I didn't. Goes to notifying me and the rapid blinks. The light is in blinking rapidly as well. Any suggestions?
My passenger seat heating element is out and my driver side overheats and my Town & Country 2014
How to change the small blinker at the front
I replaced the bulbs with a new led version. The blinkers work visually outside but inside you get the fast blink with a message saying the bulb isn't working
Thank you couldn’t find the bulb
You're welcome!
