SELLING POINT……. “Does not have a sucking living room for a toy hauler with a 17 foot garage .” NICE, definitely unheard of. Absolutely love the kitchen space as well according to all of the above…… WOW and the bedroom is huge! I love how the bathroom is connected, though, it doesn’t waste the space still awesome. Thank you, Miles for showing us such innovated and advanced campers for anybody and everybody’s needs
My local dealer has a 2025. Looking around one thing I noticed was that they are now using brass or atleast metal connections for the plumbing. So I guess GD does listen since that the use of plastic fittings was a huge complaint.
You could have a smaller table that pushes all the way in and either has 2 insert leaves, or a fold down end leaf & one insert leaf. That way, you could also use it as a desk.
They have to figure out some way to be able to allow people to go on and off of the patio from the back instead of having to go all the way back inside the camper. That's ridiculous not to figure out some way to have a door with a step on the patio so people can go on and off rught there. Also, I'm assuming the patio deck is also the ramp for getting vehicles in an out of the rear of the camper correct?
"All the way back through..." it's like 3 steps away! 😂 So far we have never felt the need to have steps off of the patio, but instead prefer the security of NOT having inviting steps to strangers while we are out.
Nice walk-through video, but you should have added that what you said about anyone living full time becoming a problem, were your ideas. I know several couples that live full time in their Grand Design fifth wheel toy haulers with no problems whatsoever. That's why there noted as extended stay. The fact that people had problems with frame flex had nothing to do with Grand Design, it was a problem that Lippert was having during the time of covid and that problem has been corrected. Yes, I agree if you overload an RV of any kind, you will have problems; that's a given; but it's not because of some one living in it full time. And unfortunately after listening to your video twice that's the way it came off. And about the table area, Grand Design is calling it a Hybrid desk/Dinette.
Major flaw in the design of the beds in the garage... If both beds are being used, the person, or people, in the bed on far end would be kind of trapped if they needed to get out of bed for whatever reason while the other bed is still down. There's barely any space between the beds to even be able to stand between them and there's absolutely no room to walk around them whatsoever. They'd have to set the first bed a good amount higher to make room for people to get in and out of bed but even then, they'd still have to crawl under the first bed...
@Itsa_Mea Regardless of who is using the beds, Children or Adults, the bunk bed configuration is just far more of a practical setup than this side by side arrangement... At least in my opinion. Also, if that is made into a kid's room, the beds take up the entire space when they're down. At least in the bunk bed setup, you have usable floor space and can still use the beds at the same time, plus it gives more options for storage and just overall better use of the space.
We keep the main bedroom door closed and use the walk through door when we get out of the shower so the next person can have the bathroom. We get dressed in the bedroom so the door is a must for us.
I can't stand the bathrooms with 2 doors, unless they're essential walk through, the ones like this, no thanks, I'd have to nail it shut as it totally ruins the wall space and furniture placement choices. Love the bed though, with great side table access.
It has 2in thick sidewalls which is the same as most all fifth wheels except brands like DRV Mobile Suites. And I don’t have an exact price but my estimate would be around $120k
I don’t like those benches I prefer the sofa style that makes into a queen or a king size bed so that it sleeps more people back there. Also, don’t like the fact that every time I click the link that it says for pricing it does not bring up the price.
Yes it's an optional half bath. It will eat up a few feet of garage in the left corner so if you have a 12' Side x Side it won't fit with the optional bathroom.

i love this living room. I wish they made something like this in a travel trailer
Loved everything except no half bath!
You did a great job touring this with all of the distractions
The toy hauler part was pretty interesting in this one
I’d prefer a two person dinette over that large table/shelf. The chairs would always be in the way.
Nice to see decent living accommodation in a toy hauler.

I agree the table area is not really optimal. I also don’t like that it blocks off the whole floor.
Love the shower and the bedroom.
The desk dinette is a no go......I think they should do better with the patio needs outside entrance....thank you for being so informative.
I believe this unit has the optional 2nd panel. Each panel is 330w.

The table does push in
@Itsa_Mea I was responding to his remarks about making it a desk ...

Fire hazard
@alfrdup what is a fire hazard? NOT having an exit? If that's what you mean, then I would agree.
There are steps for the rear, they are just not deployed there at the show.

The space between the kitchen table and living room sofa is way too cramped , you can’t pull out the table fully for 4 people.
Should have put a small booth instead of the table and chairs
Unless you're like my family and hate booths.

The camera does not accurately depict the actual amount of space you do have. Plus majority of owners utilize the rear sleeping quarters for children.

How thick is the insulation on this and price please.

Yes it's an optional half bath. It will eat up a few feet of garage in the left corner so if you have a 12' Side x Side it won't fit with the optional bathroom.
Hi... What's the price???
Not sure why anyone would by a GD after their frame flex crap. Wouldn’t trust them ever again
I would run into that table next to the sofa it's out too far and you can't push it back.
Yes you can. It retracts for the slide to come in.
Those guys are rude. Do they know you're 6'2?
