Reasons why I love this channel. Cleetus is a great driver, he brings the entertainment value along when there is any type of event. Within recent years, he has purchased this track, and given people a place to go to have fun. And not only in this video alone, but, he has made wishes and dreams come true for so many people. I'm just glad I get to sit back and watch what he, and the rest of the crew get into next. Lets face it, Cleetus has a fantastic crew with James, George, Dr. Tune Em All, Zack, Sam, his amazing wife who puts up with all of his shenanigans - Maddy, and everyone else who doesn't get much or any screen time (I know I have missed a few people by name, but I know you're doing your thing to help make things possible). I've followed this channel now for quite some time, but today sir you actually brought my level of respect for you and your crew to a whole new level!! The minute the screen said you had a Make-a-Wish child in the building and then you brought him for a rip in Donnie, Sir you are an American Icon!! And you ain't even 30 years old yet. I'm a 52 year old man that has no problem saying I look up to and respect you brotha!! @@definitelyricehe didn’t give up on drifting. Just doesn’t have the time to learn how the rtr likes to run. It’s a hand full of a car. I think if he was dedicated to driving it he could have easily mastered it but I don’t blame him. That car was more of a pro car and the cost to run is way more than a high horse power car with angle mods and a cage 🤷🏻♂️.
@@Chase.bachler I'd have thought so, but he was saying, until they fed it nitro that there juuust wasn't enough power to grab 3rd on the banks, so maybe they're just feeling it out, but when they start saying "this engine owes us nothing" is when they're at least prepared for it to blow up

Is leroy their manual drag car, and I would love to see Ruby be the number one drag car in the fleet on Nitro methane with a turbo and do it the right way it would be one of a can and but Ruby back where she needs to be ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I find it interesting that these vehicles are getting dialed in so they sound similar. The supercharged Mt Dew jet boat sounds very similar to Donny with the obvious exception of displacement. Cleetus is really maturing into an old timer already with his "I had to roll it over for the kids; they want to see it roll." comment. 🤣🤣🤣 Props for doing great things for people too. Cleetus is a straight out wheel man..........I am still so amazed even after all these years of watching him at what he can do, like those racing jetboats where he also absolutely killed it to driving a danger ranger on 2 wheels for a whole lap of the Freedom Factory then to rip laps drifting Donnie like a boss !! Everything Cleetus has he has earnt and deserves so much. What an inspirational young fella he is, then to also do Make A Wish duties and i can only imagine how many he would do that none of us know about.........he truly is an inspiration. YOU GUYS ARE GREAT! YOUR LIVING THE DREAM! Our local 1/4 track (Atco Raceway, ATCO NJ) was just sold and closed. Its been a huge part of my life (im 52yrs old) and drag raced there for years. I bought a house about 1 mile from the track back in 1996 just to be close to it.
The person that bought the property is going to use it for a junk car storage lot for insurance/salvage cars. WTF!
ITS A REALLY SAD DAY HERE. This property will never be a drag strip, ever again. I'm a 300lb tattooed biker, racer, shop owner, fabricator, that cried when they took down the sign.
After seeing your video about the surrounding property and you that will potentially be built on - fight for it! dont let this happen!
the closet track to us now is Cecil County dragway which is approx. 1.5hrs away, by far not the 1 mile that we racers moved to this town to be near. Nothing ever stays the same.............

You need to check that oil consistently! Nitro will break it down and turn it to a milky green color.
he needs an accusump, the whole kits like $400 and it would save this thing around the big corners. He keeps just smoking LS's which are know to not like hanging sideways at RPM.
I got to say this. I am a 10 year Survivor of childhood Leukemia. Seeing you did a make a wish Is absolutely amazing! So many people will turn down a kid from make a wish. If I knew who you where back when I was 16 I would probably have chosen you too. Lucky kid! Thank you for what you do!!

Great improvement on Donnie the drifter. Nate fine tuned her to run on that nitro pretty darn awesome. Donny gave the fans a great show along with those other dudes. The 2 wheel off the ramp was top quality for a whole lap. The piece de resistance was the abrupt side flop. Great show for the audience.👍👍🇨🇦

"I like the nitro" -T shirt, there u go.. I watched a vid on Jet-A vs diesel fuels for RC jet engines. Pretty good info, 1.5X more thrust for the former. And better power control of the turbine. Makes me wonder if diesel is used for market, max thrust figures... It sparked some other interesting fuel parallels and ideas. But I won't geek out.
So, I don’t want to take away from the rest of the video, but I can’t deny the lump in my throat when I read that you were warming up toast, for a make a wish throttle blip. Dude, guys, you got kids in those situations whose wish is to come to your shop, and just throttle one of y’all’s cars. It’s phenomenal.
