That was 1446 miles in 24 hours so they averaged 60.25 mph and an average lap time of 22.4 seconds (including pit stops).

Puts a new perspective on the teams that do 24hrs of Le Mans, Silverstone etc. Those guys must get absolutely hammered in those cars.
Cars? Ha! 24 hour motorcycle racers are the hardest.
They do 4 driver teams so it's a little more manageable but still a feat
@@geirkselim2697 the Gs they’re pulling are much greater though I’d imagine it would be damn near impossible without the drivers getting absolutely wrecked with less people. Either way the challenge is exciting!

Mad respect for FoMoCo and the Crown Vic. The beating these cars dish out and still perform is pretty remarkable. Let's not forget that a majority of these cars have already lived a very long and rough life as patrol vehicles. Kudos to you guys on the laps!
Realistically, most police cars don't have a rough life, aside from high idle times. 🤷🏻♂️
But yeah, the Crown Vic is the best all-around car ever built. A real shame they stopped making them.

I've been having a rough couple weeks. Working non stop. Trying to catch up on bills.. and these videos help me a lot. It's like a weird break from all the nonsense. I watch a lot of RUclips. But cleetus is the only one who is capable of taking my mind off of everything else and focus on the fun that they're having and the entertainment that just so happens to come with it. Thanks Garrett. I appreciate what you do for us car guys who are going through it and need a break.

I gotta say one of the best parts of Cleetus’s videos is that every one of the guys look like they are genuinely love what they are doing and living the dream. Great people doing great things.
This really helps you understand just how insane the GT3 Nurburgring 24hr racing is. The fact the cars, drivers and crew get through the 24 hours, let alone win it is insane. That track is *intense* and how friggin dark it gets at night is ridiculous. The one thing going for it is it’s dynamic turns making it not be boring.
Great idea with the driving experience! Hope it works out well for you guys! Love seeing people grow and succeed!
Imagine the drivers in the actual IMSA 24-hr races like Daytona and LeMans. Where they actually have to race other cars at full race pace!
I can't imagine that, I've done a 3 hour midget car race and I was in so much pain and so tired I couldn't even begin to imagine what that's like

With all the variables of different drivers, different cars, and different conditions (shenanigans), it is amazing how consistent the laps ended up being in the end. After about 600 laps in I did some calculations and estimates and predicted 3850 laps for the 24 hours. I was shocked to see it end at 3856. Overall amazing how close the laps averaged out!
Every day, I check for new cleeter content. The first thing I look for and the prime of a good break in the day. Take 10 minutes and put a smile on your face!
I've been awaiting the day for them to implement this driving experience, so we are super stoked here in Washington!

Need to make a smaller endurance event with 4 to 6 drivers per car. Start with 6 hours, if all goes well, 12, and finally 24. Max 10 cars.

That was so epic. Great to see Kev on the channel again. Did anyone notice how drunk and out of it Cleeter sounded when fatigued? That's a good lesson for anyone going on a roadtrip or going on a long distance drive. Fatigue is a killer.
Also, there needs to be a triple crown (no pun) trophy for winning three of Cleeters events. LeMullets, Ranger Dange, and I'm not sure what the third one would be.

I’d like to see a 24hr race with some drivers. But I’d say 2 cars per team and a spare. That way drivers can be ready to roll as one is pulling off and let the cars cool a bit after 3-4 hours each stint

Probably need 4 drivers per team at least to hustle these crown vics around for 24hrs. Pro drivers struggle with it with the best gear and in peak physical condition.
@@willyjimmy8881 The G forces in an LMH car are much higher. Not saying it's still not difficult in the CV, but a totally different ballgame.
