Loving the video trust me when I started building 1 tone a 1/2 steel was under $80.000.00 Just the other day I paid $183.000.00 for the same amount of steel as a Jamaican living outside Jamaica it would be nice to know the full price of the item quoted including (G.C.T) for example the 1 tone of steel was $159,130.00 b4 tax. (G.C.T) =$23 ,869.50 all together is $182, 999.50. This was paid on the 15/06/2022 from a popular hardware in Westmoreland
72,253 in tax is my answer and yep it rough bad. To answer your question the cost is 9000 per square foot to complete your house that price may vary due to inflation but for a regular house 9000 multiplied by the square footage your architect/draftsman told you.
It takes long because Jamaican actually owns what they have other than in my country or the USA, people have it all but owns nothing. Like having loans that they paid for over 30 years. In jamaica people live within with what they earn, the vast majority.
