  • Jason takes you through stretches to help improve your breathing and lung capacity. This is particularly useful for asthmatics or athletes looking to improve their respiratory function.
When you breathe, muscles contract to inhale, and then relax to exhale. Along with the diaphragm, primary muscles used are the intercostals (between your ribs). You'll also need muscles in the chest, abdominals, upper back and lats.
These muscles can get tired and tight just like any others. Activating and lengthening them help them perform optimally, leading to improved breathing and lung capacity

I have had difficulty getting a deep breath for a few months. It may be Covid related, although I have always tested negative. I read the book "Breath" and discovered your RUclips exercises. I can now get a deep breath and also find it very relaxing before going to sleep. Thank you so much. I love your gentle approach.

I feel a strong pressure right at the bottom of my middle ribcage, right where they end. I once threw up from it after running too much. Should i go see a doctor? I dont trust them at all.
