i was first exposed to this piece of music around 1964 with leon fleischer, pianist and leonard bernstein conducting the orchestra. from then on i was hooked. i have heard this music so many times it is engraved in my heart and brain. Mr. kovacs has done a masterful job with the piano expression. the orchestra does not over power, and the tones and stresses in his playing are with the finest i have heard in over 60 years. thank you this is a wonderful presentation.

Me too. In 1964 I was five years old and my mom regularly played on the record player that recording by Fleischer.
