    Excellent presentation. Great looking 4Runner. Your reasoning is spot on; my reasons for everything exactly. I subscribed.

    Thank you for speaking to the weight of the tires. 👍

    Thanks for this. I have the same truck, color and all. I don’t love the stock nittos; will probably do this next.

    I just got a 2024 ORP. I also have a BTK amputation of my right foot. I drive with my left foot same as I have seen you do. The 4Runner is a tight fit for my prosthetic. I’m tall so it’s clumsy to say the least.
    I only have about 4500 miles on my truck. The KO2s are my next tire I believe. Thanks for your advice. I’m just over one year with the amputation. It’s tough at times.

    I have the same setup on my stock 2016 4runner trd pro with Nitto ridge grapplers. I love it no need to do extra stuff to it. Great video

      Do you notice significant mileage drop off with the Ridge Grapplers? They seem heavier than the KO2s

    E is an extremely heavy duty tire for a 4runner, good and bad. Beautiful vehicle

    I like skinny tires so I did 255/75R17 on mine. 32 inch tire.

    I went with 255/75R17. Saved 10 lbs per tire since it isn't a E-rated tire

    how rough do the E’s ride? looking at toyo at3’s in this size which weigh only 50 pounds but mine is a daily driver. like you said most 275s only come in e rating. just curious if the ride is really that much rougher

    • @monoped_adventures
      @monoped_adventures  Год назад +3

      The ride isn't much differentat all. I'm running at 32PSI.

    looks great, so how much of MPG difference you think compared to Nitto TG stock ones? Also any trouble with balancing / vibration issues?

    • @monoped_adventures
      @monoped_adventures  Год назад +3

      So far I've lost about 1 USMPG. Not too bad. They balanced well and no vibration. I'm running them at 32psi.

      @@monoped_adventures That is very interesting, I thought E load, bigger, and about 14 lbs heavier tire per corner would result in more loss. Good to hear.

    How do you find the ride with the LT tires compared to stock (city roads, highway, offroad)? Im having the same debate from 265/70/17 SL tires vs 275/70/17 LT (E rated) tires. And its about 10-12 lbs more weight per tire.

    • @monoped_adventures
      @monoped_adventures  5 месяцев назад

      They do ride rougher on the highway, and there is some power loss with the wieght, but they are holding up really well for all the abuse I've put them through off road, especially in the sharp, broken rocks on many higher trails around here.

    So in other words you have about 10 inches of ground clearance?

    • @monoped_adventures
      @monoped_adventures  4 месяца назад

      Correct, but if I air down, then I'm pretty much back at stock ground clearance of 9.6

    Great vid. Question. 2022 TRD OFF Road here. Upgrading to an AT tire 265 17 70, maybe the K02 or the AT Boss by Thompson. Without a suspension lift or leveling what are the possibilities that I get some rub? I've heard various outcomes. Thank you in advance.

    • @monoped_adventures
      @monoped_adventures  Год назад +1

      265s will match the original size. If your wheel offset (if you're getting aftermarket rims) stays roughly the same, you'll be good to go.

    Hi there, i am about to put the same tires and wheels on my 2019 4runner 5rs, any problem so far?

    • @monoped_adventures
      @monoped_adventures  5 месяцев назад +1

      No problems so far. They are a much heavier tire than stock, so power and milage will be affected. You might get slight rubbing on thr SR5 because they sit a little bit lower, but it can easily be fixed. Good luck!

    Reason no rub is you have a TRD Pro and yes they trim the bumper and push the fender liner forward. Technically anyone without a Pro can do the same. There are templates for where to cut.
