    That's a good idea. I have a few small pieces of olive, mainly branch wood. Might have to make some tree decorations with them.

    Great job. I intended to do this challenge yesterday but had another task come up that took priority. Maybe tomorrow. I’m just curious why you turned it in this direction rather than the other way around? Just because Richard turned it this way? Think I’m going to approach it with the top toward the head stock, held in a chuck, and work from what will be the bottom toward the top. Thanks for sharing.

      Thanks Doug. Actually I thought Richard turned it the other way? Steve Jones turned his this way because it leaves a hole for the screw eye to start in from the cone centre.
