    Great video work Kristina! It takes a quilter to understand how important it is to see the close up. I could really see what Kim was doing and talking about!🌷
    And Kim, I really appreciate you showing how you used the rulers. It’s nice to see that even if you just have lots of borders and straight lines on your pieced quilt, you can really jazz it up with lots of curves, and the rulers make it easy. TFS. 🌻

    Kim and Kristina, I would like to thank you so much for this video! You shared so many pointers and information in a 'real quilt' situation! It is great! your interaction is so humourous...like real friends who quilt together!

    Thank you so much for this video! I don't have ProStitcher yet, so I am only able to free motion quilt and do ruler work. It can be very intimidating being a beginner with the longarm and this really helped me feel more confident with my rulers!

    Oh how the Handi quilter has grown!
    I have one of the original portable frames that the engineer brought to Australia! I met him at the Sydney quilt show in June 2005! He was on the stand with a gentleman from here in Brisbane and my friend had organised to work on the stand for a couple of days while we were on our way back from the 4th Australasian Machine Quilting Conference in Mittagong. Unfortunately I can’t remember the names of either gentlemen but I believe the engineer was the father of the lady who wanted a portable frame to take away on holiday! I do believe they then started the business up. My friend also had a prototype of the first machine they developed, delivered to her to test about a year or so later. Oh memories………

    Thanks for the video I get so much from them. I've used a lot of your tips when using my Amara ST.

    Good video! What stitches per inch did you use for basing the quilt?

    How are the gears turned purple?

    • @HandiQuilter
      @HandiQuilter  2 месяца назад

      On the Pro-Stitcher screen, select the Pro-Stitcher tab and then in the ribbon, hit the Gears button to disengage the gears making the crosshairs purple. Same thing to engage the gears and having orange crosshairs.
      If you have an older machine with a leverage system on the carriage, the steps will be different.

    Kristina and Kim, You are referring to the first video. Where can I see it? I cannot seem (seam?) to find it listed. Thank you Ladies!

      Hi @joettewarburton5328 The first video is called Mapping Out Borders. You can find it by searching for that title or look through the Watch & Learn Playlist. It originally aired a couple of months ago.

      Hi @bobbinwithbrittany Unfortunately, no - the ROTM Club has been discontinued. But we are launching our revamped line of rulers very soon. Keep an eye out for new videos featuring these rulers in the months to come.

    I have been having a little trouble with my rulers sort of "catching" on the little bump where the needle plate meets the machine. I looked a other Handi Quilt machines (Amara) and they seem to have that bump too. I hope you know what I mean. What can I do to help? I have particularly noticed it on small circular rulers. Instead of a nice circle, I'll get a flat side like a D.
