Hi tallie Fay I fix my son and myself the Spaghetti Squash.i took some hamburger meat put some onions and peppers and tomatoe Sauce and garlic stuff like that and put it over the It's Squash it was a meal for us along with some garlic bread It was delicious But they cost so much in the store it's scary Thank you tallie Fay for sharing Love you
Love your show!!! I like spaghetti squash, too, and you are right they are the dickens to get open. I poke holes in the squash and put it in the microwave like I am baking a potato for about 6 minutes. Then squeeze it to see if it is soft. If not, another minute or two until it's soft. Let it cool a bit and it is so much easier to cut in half.
I LOVE spaghetti squash!!! No always cook it in a pan of water with a bit of salt. Once it's fork tender, I take it out and slice it open, then I remove the seeds, fluff up the spaghetti squash, add some salt, pepper and butter. And sit down and eat it. I LOVE it!! Yummy!!!
My grandmother used to rub her spaghetti squash with bacon drippings and roast them like that. She also steamed them plain, no seasoning, then shredded them and made mock French coconut pies, using coconut extract. They were good!
Tallie Faye I been watching you for awhile now. Just subscribed to your channel. I love you cooking and videos. Although I can't eat meat except chicken , turkey and fish, seafood. It's all ok ❤❤❤❤. I was born and raised in Texas miss it so much. I live in Arkansas now. 😢 God Bless You All keep that garden growing. We love you .We are blessed.

Can you believe we've never tried spaghetti squash? Never saw it look appetizing before lol Yours looks delicious. Most people show it stringy like spaghetti, but yours looks better. And I only use shredded zucchini squash for baking breads, cakes and muffins. I’ve tried to eat it fried but it’s just to slimy or something. I just can’t get it down, if ya know what I mean 😂😂.
