That Buzz is a heck of a gardener. Try using the same brine to pickle zucchini spears. I made pickled zucchini spears last year and they were delicious.
Unless you are a canner or from a canning family, I don't think you can fully appreciate the beauty of something that is well-canned. When I go to general stores that sell canned items, my eyes are automatically drawn to those that just look good. Taste is most important, but it's really nice when it looks good on the shelf.
Hi Talli Faye, Hi Buzz!!! I love Mrs. Wages canning spices. We use the chili seasonings for our chili starts and the spaghetti, too, so I know we would like the pickling packages. I have never heard of an Armenian cucumber. I like how Buzz peels them, cause that's the only part of a pickle I don't like, lol. Hey girl 😊… After they have cooled and set out on the counter… gently press the caps with your finger… if it stays down it’s sealed… if it pops back up it didn’t seal… just put that jar straight in the fridge 😊
