The Churchill III was just lowered to a battle rating of 4.0 in RB. This has always been a favorite of the community and glad to see it's a bit more competitive again!

What are you hoping for in the next patch? Personally seeing the A-6 Intruder in War Thunder is pretty freaking crazy.

Remember when the Pz.IV G and Churchill III were the same BR at 4.0? Then they made the Panzer 3.3 and the Churchill 4.3? Thanks, Gaijin. Your efforts to break your own game are astonishing.
The 4G is actually 3.7. The 4F2 is 3.3.

Bo continously show us how we *should* play WT (with friends and for fun) as opposed as how we *do* play WT (alone and for the grind).

Usually play it with a friend, but he entered the stage where you enter a long period of “no tank go boom” hibernation
It’s almost impossible to get people into this game. They get murdered in reserves by sweaty level 100s or die to planes and just don’t want to play again.
Honestly I’m surprised the player base is as large as it is given the lack of game modes or variety. Other than the number of vehicles, WT is very, very basic for a modern MMO. It’s the addictive game loop that keeps people playing the same maps and the same capture mode over and over.

@@ZETH_27 that's strange, i have been grinding exactly the 6-pounder armed vehicles and they are painful. 9 out of 10 shots either bounce or get sent to the shadow realm.
are you sure you used the british 57mm and not the russian or american one?
@@ravenouself4181 I'm talking about the British one yes. They may have changed it somehow in recent updates or maybe you're just not used to it's playstyle.
It has 2 considerable perks: Great pen, great reload
And most often vehicles armed with it have a shoulder stabilizer.
If you're playing something like the Crusader III you can moset certainly pen everything you go up against, and you'll usually be able to get the shot of first, add to that the fact that you have an incredibly fast reload relative to contemporary vehicles and you'll be able to take out any tank's crew in one or two shots unless it has 6+ crew, at which point you should go for the enemy's ammunition.
EDIT: After having played a little, I've definitely noticed an incredibly unreliability in almost all shells as of the last few (2 or 3) updates, especially in AP and APHE, both sometimes getting voided or APHE not ceating any spalling at all for whatever reason.
At this point HEAT has become more reliable than APHE (reference taken from Swedish 4.0 lineup) which is *not* a good sign...
You should use the xp55 as cas. Just put in armored belts for both guns, and watch pzIV's melt.

I always miss the old days of World of Tanks with the T37 turret on the M24 Chaffee, loaded with the 76mm cannon it looked so adorable. The derpy little bobblehead looked like it would fall over every time you turned for a broadside using what looked like a battleship cannon on a Hotwheels car. Think recently it got re-added to the game as a "Super Chaffee", but it's not the same... The T37's also had a fan community trying to push for it to be added to War Thunder, but don't think it's ever gained any traction.

I don’t think the packs are limited to 1000 like they were for the PC player base.

Ha. Yeah. Churchill III is solid anyway. I have a decent kill-death ratio in it. The BR drop would be overpowered, except there are no other Brit ground vehicles at the same BR.

Bo, I feel like whatever I do in War Thunder, I always lose money in every battle. I can be cautious, aggressive, flanky, etc. No kills, one shoted, bounce all my shots. No matter what, I lose more money rather make a profit per match. What do you do in those situations?

Yes, if you're careful and don't kill yourself from frustration, and can handle a long, slow, never ending learning-curve.

@@Thurden_mixd Repairs while in a game are free, yes. If your tank is destroyed, you either need to wait for a while for it to be repaired for free, or have auto repair enabled, which repairs it for a varying amount of silver lions. (Silver lions are the free currency that anyone can get by playing the game.)

The turret armor is shit but a lot of people don't know that the 57mm is a newer version than the one on the Valentine IX and Cromwell 1 and has more pen.
