Edit: its not that bad, but you need to work on bow control and don't play over your fingerboard, also when you play overdraumatic like that it makes it hard for principal conductors to focus, and distracts the audience

You think that's bad? I was on a gig on a stage where the trombone player launched his slide into the crowd during an exuberant solo. It got a lot quieter when the slide left.

Believe it or not, this middle school orchestra sounds a lot better than my old high school orchestra. Either music education has greatly improved in the last 10 years or my school district didn't really put enough into the arts budget.

My piano teacher forced us to memorize the pieces once for a school recital, I memorized 5 pieces for 3 months and it only took 3 seconds to forgot them all.. 😭😭
Go bold or don’t go at all!! Music is made for the listening and creating, so why don’t you put your heart into it and see what happens, success and failure along the way? Just a small comment on your bow arm-it may be a little more controlled if you could limit your shoulder and upper arm from moving in height. It will naturally move and rotate of course, but primarily in string crossings or taking large full bows. At least it wasn’t a string breaking where you’d have to sit silently or try the impossible for the rest of the concert or piece.
