Don is the greatest heavyweight MMA all Time greatest. What a man. Heart and real soul of a fighter. Today's fighters are not even in this guys league of awesomeness and we will never have another great man like don. I love this guy since I first watched his fight against the big Japanese guy. Don has fought 500 lb guys and Don is a true warrior
He was a great fighter for his time. The technical aspect of MMA and fighter’s ability to focus full time on training have created fighters that would wipe the floor with Don. No doubt was/is one of the toughest guys on the planet. Wouldn’t even be a top 10 heavyweight today though.
@Anthony if you don't think prime frye could be top 10 today your a fucking nut that's like saying a modern marine is tougher than a spartan warrior we may have better weaponry today but I highly doubt they are tougher mentally and physically today's fighters may have better styles and more in depth techniques but in terms of toughness don would take the cake

My heart goes out to you Don I had back surgery in 2013 witch is called faild back surgery now and threw many other surgeries for the first surgery that has put me threw a living hell I ended up with a infection around my spinal cord that was estimated of been there for over a year these doctors don't give a damn about anything more than collecting that money, I was blessed to came in contact with the new young Dr that took the bull by the horns and was able to remove the infection, people that have never been there don't have a clue yet I still suffer from an uncontrollable pain that's debilitating. I have this strange feeling this pain will eventually shut my heart down , your an inspiring person to listen to and watch. My respect Sir.

Certainly one of a kind. He was a beast and took no prisoners on the same Hans he show no compassion. He was loyal to his sport but realized later on he was just a commodity to the powers to be. Seems he was better cared for in Japanese organizations then by US ones. We might like watching the interviews but I would bet he’s not so easy to get along with just going by what he says and how he’s acting. I’m guessing he wouldn’t care for most of the people who are watching this video.
Man I miss fort huachuca and siera vista Arizona. Went to visit my friend in the army 20 years ago and got my first tattoo out there. To hear Don mention them brings back so many memories.
