I don't know much about Dan Severn's career, but he is such an interesting contrast to Frye in demeanor. Frye is more of the stereotype cage fighter, while Severn is like a soft spoken professor. Absolutely fascinating to watch and listen to. Thanks.

That's what made it so good. These two gentleman are 2 of the toughest men on Earth. Would have loved to see have seen them mix it up one time.

Don frye's voice - manliest voice of all time!
Dan is older the Frye by like 8 years, so why does Frye look like Dan's dad, or at least older brother?
Some of it may be genetics, but it's mostly lifestyle. Don has gone through many extremely rough patches, injuries, dealings with depression, and freely admits to not always having the best habits or made the soundest life choices. Dan doesn't drink or smoke and has always taken care of his health. He had four times as many fights in his career (101-19-3) as Don (20-9-1), yet suffered a lot less wear and tear. Hard to believe that he's sixty-three in this interview.
