On this episode of Q&A the guys talk about Kyle Rittenhouse, Dog The Bounty Hunter's bodyguard vs Don Frye, Tom Erikson, Brock Lesnar and Mark Hunt. They also talk about the brain damage sustained during their careers and Dan gives a plug to Arizona State University Wrestling.
I think Don and everyone else knows that a sober, healthy Don Frye would have beaten the crap out of anybody's bodyguard
Pretty cool of Don to have a sense of humor about it. Anyone who knows Don knows what a solid guy he is, and anyone who knows that coward bounty hunter knows him and everyone in his orbit are swine. I'm sure they knowingly took advantage of the state Don was in to try to get some headlines off of his name. I'm sure if Don came looking for a rematch when he was sober they would've skittered into cracks in the walls like the insects they are.
I saw that fight. Don was completely wasted and in no condition to fight!
That goes without saying, the body guard wouldn't probably even look at Don sober, for fear his mustache would slap the hell out of him!

He’s up there as a American for sure, calls it like he sees it,
Don is authentic which is a quality sorely lacking these days. But fortunately authenticity is also contagious; when people who have been full of BS for a while spend some time with or watching a person who is authentic it tends to rub off on them. So speak your mind and do so with sincerity and courage, and ignore anyone that would tell you that you cannot do that.
I met him when I was 10 years old,after I shook his hand I grew a full beard and had my father cleaning my room.

Love listening to these 2 legends. Real men like this are a dying breed in today's sensitive Sallie world. Don's voice alone is intimidating enough to scare most men. Love how they don't hold back on the woke politics of today too. Do they sell any shirts ? I'd love to support you guys

I'm 25 and recently found out about the legend Don Frye. Its good to find a role model that has a lot of my shared ideals.
It's hard to be a real man when you grow up without a dad in this generation of pansies. I grew up fighting though, I work hard and have callused hands as I should.
Whenever I feel like my testosterone levels are getting low, I just listen to Don for about 10 mins, just to get my t level right again!! 🤣🤣
All of these fighters who do testosterone replacement therapy should instead just listen to this podcast.

I haven’t watched MMA in years, but Dan Severn was always mine and my brother’s favorite in the early tournaments… then he brought along my other favorite fighter, Don Frye, “The Predator.” Not only did he share his nickname with mine and my cousins’ favorite movie, he was All American and kicked ass. These two are national treasures.
Pretty soon everyone will have Don Frye paintings on their walls as the modern day John Wayne LOL

Some do not realize or even know that the military has athletic programs as well. Sometimes a athlete might not have the opportunity to go to a big university or at that ability level to compete for a select spot on a team.
As for myself I went the military way.
And let's just say Ken Shamrock have more things in common than just being a Marine. And let's leave it at that for now.

I follow all things combat sports.. why haven’t I found you two before now? Good job here.. there ain’t guys like you two around much anymore.. I was raised by a cowboy for a father.. old school guy ya know.. I have that in me too.. blue collar .. working class ethics, tough farm boy kinda childhood. Hearing you guys talk old school like ya do just brings back memories, it’s just odd now.. I don’t see or hear it much anymore.

Theoretically, there's no losing in fighting a PED enhanced Brock Lesner. If you beat him, you beat a chemically enhanced beast. If you "lose," that loss comes with an asterisk. Big pay day, in all likelihood.
Of course, this assumes no major injury.
Losing to Lesnar is safer than losing to Mark Hunt.

A question for Don and Dan, what is your opinion on what no gi grappler can do to promote themselves. Such as just talk about records or more of a fighter/wrestlers and build a character people like to see off and on the mat.
