You don't have to put those ugly jade fences randomly. You can just build any furniture using jade or replace on wall from the room with a Jade wall and it gives a big beauty bounes.
You should have done a Santa Claus challenge. Start on the ice sheets with only tempoarily hostile factions on the map (the ones that start hostile but you can make neutral). Then bring about peace on the Rim for the holidays by making clothes, furniture, toys, etc and gifting them to every faction to make them non-hostile.

You keep using the jade fence trick in your last few episodes, but imo, it's not nearly the best trick for improving room quality. The absolute best thing for improving room quality & colonist mood early game is daylilies. It does waste some time of your farmer pawn(s), to keep replanting them, but this can actual be good early game, to raise their skill. You get 23 beauty per tile for daylilies, as opposed to 3-4 for absolute best flooring. Daylilies add nothing to your colony wealth, and keeping your floors dirt can actually save you time. Dirt floors cannot get dirt on them, so you only have to clean the other trash, blood, etc. Just make a grow zone inside, and cover every bit of floor that you can with daylilies. They only need 50% light level to grow, so even torches work. This works even better if you use a barracks with it, so you only have to maintain one communal space with daylilies, instead of multiple individual rooms. Using this method, you can pretty easily have an excellent quality barracks from pretty much day 3-4.

I liked the vid but I found the background music you used in the beginning to be pretty distracting and made it hard to focus on what you were saying. I think there was just too much going on in that track. I also think you could lower the volume of the music a bit so we could hear a little more of the game audio.
if you just want void's zombies and not the void faction, you could replace void with "The Army of Fetid Corpses." It's a lot less overpowered than void buy they have the same vibe.

Thats a good point. I think I’ve been doing the fence simply because its quick and requires 1 piece of jade, but it is a tiny bit ugly lol.
If you do the wall correctly it could even provide the bonus for several rooms.
