The old saying...she makes it look easy. Her vocal nuances licks whatever you call it are so fluid. Like somebody said about SRV...the music just seems to flow through her which I would say is how yer supposed to do it. I realize this is quite old - but just love this performance of hers' just love dark emotion + severity of her look + Imagery: Not sure why the September born Virgo/Americana musician/artistes are so powerful...(we're) a tortured/perfectionist sign, but this stuff just cuts to the bone emotionally...
Could be a Broadway but the headstocks maybe were more elaborate with inlay? I don't know if they sold a plain model in the after war years, but I think the broadway was a flashier guitar. There was a 1940s era Broadway in a music shop where I used to work but it was many years ago.
look has nothing to do with music and while the change in Jolie's look has gone hand in hand with the change in her music, I have liked all phases of her career. Still it's interesting to see that she was much plainer in her look before and although she hasn't reached HUGE success she has reached success. So, I say why does success create the need to transform from Plain to Made-Up? There's something to be said about this.
