I had a different way of handling especially the "view" part but I am glad Big Wombo here made it easier for beginners to get familiar to sim mode. I had some vids of my gameplay might pique your interest that may or may not suits you.
This has single-handedly been the best thing I have ever watched for Sim gameplay. It's improved my experience so much. And every time I want to re-watch it or recommend it to a new player in Sim I can never find it, it gets lost in my playlists, and when I try to search for it in watch history or the searchbar i can never find it 😂 You need to put more tags on this video because it is super helpful.
just recently i switched to having the mouse joystick mainly control yaw over roll. (i use A and D for roll mainly) This is because while roll doesn't affect your aim as much, having a good yaw control lets you do fine horizontal adjustments much easier (for strafing ground targets for example) and as a bonus helps with smooth takeoffs.
Can you show how is set your controls for Yaw please ? The one you said is bind to Q and E. I am using for mouse Yoke 30% sensivity, for Pitch and 100% for Yaw an 0% Aileron, using A and D for Roll 75 % Roll sensitive, 100% for Pitch and Yaw Thanks
are you still having the problem? try activating relative control on the head movements settings. then choose the relative control sensibility to 40% or whatever you´d like
