Thanks Patrick...another excellent video. My preference for flights 4 - 5 hours long leaving mid-morning would be to have a beverage service with something modest to eat and then lunch half way through the flight with wine. Afternoon to evening departures I'd rather the airline stick to the timing they generally do now.
By the way, it looks like I and another commenter found the 'nicer' lounge at the Terminal. I really liked hanging out in the MEX AM lounge.
I flew Aeromexico from MEX to PVR and tho' a relatively short flight they served us a very nice lunch and a generous beverage service. I'd fly AM again...Cheers 🙂

Excellent trip here Patrick and here's the problem with Mexico City Juarez airport it's the elevation which is why their Transpacific flights need a stop San Diego/Tijuana on some days. For AM cross border flights the busier routes should be using B787-8/-9s otherwise crowded B737s. 2-2-2 direct aisle business class does exist it's the Apex suites made by B/E Aerospace nowadays Rockwell Collins original manufacturer of the B-1 Lancer bomber when they were called Rockwell International corporation. Apex suites from SFO are on Japan Airlines B787-8/B787-9s if fitted and Korean Air B777-3B5/ER later ones

I've flown AM before and I've always found them way too expensive and service way too cheap. Mexicana was much much better (but I don't know how it's gonna turn out under the new NG admon). Domestically, I'd rather fly Viva, as Volaris has become un-lowcost now, haha...
My vote is for midflight serving. IMO, it always kills time (and also makes you feel the sense of time) during long flights.
Video obs: As another viewer pointed out, the soundtrack of Colombian cumbias... WHY???? 😖😖 As a northerner/west-coaster Mexican I cringed. Mariachi was not a bad choice, hehehe!

Someone finally did a flight review of AeroMexico. The flight is standard when compare to the region. The lounge however is disappointing. The seating and food option could be much better. Breakfast is such a hard thing to get right for any airline and AeroMexico is no exception. I would love to see a review during lunch time or early evening as their transatlantic peak begins. Is the lounge any better or worse? Over crowded, or upgraded food? For one thing the space feels claustrophobic and it could use some TLC, in seating, lighting, and connectivity.

An airline that feels it must control my window tinting does not deserve my business. A light sandwich snack prior to arrival would have been nice and maybe served with a small dessert! I remember years ago I was on a flight between Den and Sea late evening and after drinks were served, they came around with apple pie and ice cream for a snack! Airlines nowadays just don't use their imagination when serving food! Another example was a 45 minute flight I took in Alaska and after drink service they came around with a tray of quarter size variety of sandwich's, that you could select, cherry tomatoes and a small package of cheese and the flight was almost full so these stories you hear about not having enough time to serve a meal is a bunch of hogwash as the flight attendants are too lazy! As with most airlines on a four hour flight, they want to get you served and the service over with immediately so the flight attendants can sit down for the rest of the flight.
