can't beleive I spent a week making a donut, when 3dgreenhorn made me make a donut in 5 minutes.
You are really good at teaching, you teach people how to do an action and then make them repeat it multiple times so it sticks, respect man, you got potential.
This tutorials are really making getting into Blender very enjoyable, thank you!
It took me about 3 hours to complete this tutorial. It was about 40 min to follow it (with pause and replay etc) and 2h20 of me screaming about how cute the cup was. I'm afraid of going part 3... it will take forever then...
Don't be. It'll all be worth it to see your scene in full glory 👍 keep going
This comment is so cute🥰
I'm excited for the final part.
I am learning SO MUCH with this tutorial. Shortcuts, tips, etc.
That is the perfect way to learn: in the practice.
One of the things I enjoy about blender is how you can do the same thing in about a dozen different ways, and you're using different tricks for essentially the same things. There were a couple times where my mesh wasn't quite doing what I wanted it to, so I used a different tactic to get a similar effect. Oddly enough the curtain tripped me up the most.
For those of you who at 15:50 don't see a circle, add the mesh circle, hit tab to go into edit mode and hit "F" to fill it in.
bro your my hero
@@neio589 💋
You saved my life bro
Thanks bro
I was wondering why mine is different even though i repeat it lot of times
Cuz in the vedio he doesn't tell us to fill.
U r hero my bro
Thanks
thank you, great tutorial 🙂
took me a few days but i did it...now going to dive into the 3rd part
Thank you so much for making such clear and understandable videos. Loving it.
For the people who have problem with minute 12:36, just set the origin to the 3D Cursor, duplicate with ALT + D and click R to rotate
Very Thanks
omg you saved my life. i was about to go crazy, because mine doesnt do what the thing in the video did
yeesss @@engelshass
So much to learn! Thanks again for the great demo. :)
Yes, now this time wait to part 3 ❤️
Lesssss Gooooo. I was waiting for this! Amazing tut
This tutorial really suitable for Advanced learner , to understand more hotkey , also the way loops, extrude and subdivision work
i watched part 1 : 10 time, repeat 10 time, to learn by repetition, oh man it feel good ! it good to bealive ! thanks sir !
Wow ❤
For anyone having troubles with the rotation from the origin. On the menu bar next to Global, you'll see a box in which you can select '3D Cursor' which will help you align with the center point.
I am still having trouble even with this solution. Once I duplicate with alt+d, I am able to move my mesh freely. But once I press R, it snaps back in place, and no matter how I move my mouse, the object stays in place. Do you know what I might be doing wrong?
It's okay. I found the solution. Apparently I had "only locations" checked in a pie menu brought up by "." I was able to do it after I unchecked it.
@@Mystic_Raineme too😢
You have no idea how much you've helped me :D Thanks@@Mystic_Raine

Thanks Sir
Master 🙏
Wait why doesn't the donut part take 16 episodes of 20 minutes to do ? :o
More seriously, thank you a lot! ^^
Haha 😁
Amazing tutorial, well done, well explained, perfect for refreshening the basics if you're getting back to Blender after a while.
Just one thing though: i can't get the SHIFT + ] to work in any way... Has anyone had the same issue?
Also, to move to Isolate View there's no need to press forward + slash. Just slash will do the job. Same thing to get out of it.
Thanks
(SHIFT + ]) Maybe it didn't work for you because of the keyboard layout, search for it first in the keyboard, try to write the square bracket symbol ( ] ) as a text to see if the button you clicked on is the one for it, then use it in blender with Shift, blender has that shortcut assigned by default, but you can assign it Manually if that wasn't the case by going to: Edit > Preferences > Key Map (Ensure you're in the Name search next to the search bar) then type: ( select hierarchy ) without parenthesis, to see what shortcut is assigned to that action or to reassign it
As for the forward slash, You're right you souldn't press on the Arrows (Up or right) then slash.
This Slash (/) is called Forward-Slash, and this one (\) is called Backward-Slash or BackSlash
If you're adding a subdivision (subsurf) modifier and your object seems to "disappear" in wireframe mode, look at Preferences > ViewPort > Subdivision and try unchecking "GPU Subdivision."
This setting appears to be linked to your machine's GPU and/or architecture-on my Mac, I had no problems with it checked, whereas on my Ryzen 3 PCs with a lower-end Radeon graphics chip, the modified object looked completely smashed. It was driving me crazy trying to figure it out!
what I am understanding from these tutorials is most common modifiers are mirror, array, subsurf, solidify. You also need to understand bevel. The rest is just skill and your imagination.
im just going to be
crazy when doing it
Could also just use the spin option in edit mode and make 11 segments for the clock.
Si ca ne marche pas comme sur la vidéo pour vous, à 9:55, c’est peut être parce que vous avez cliquez sur le « proportional Editing » mode 😊 Enlevez le et ça devrait fonctionner !
for anyone having trouble at 15:44 (no circle mesh face for cup inset and intrusion ), select all top vertices and press 'F' to generate a face for it
your tutorials are awesome, but I have a question - Why does the Clock have only 8 hours?? :D
It reminds me of one game where you have to build your own house with those little 3d rooms, but i forgot the name of it...
Hi! Your works was very useful to me, thank you😊 I saw that you did not apply after using subdivision and bevel. Should I do this and why?
amazing blender guru make 16 video for one donut but yours 1 min
To be fair, blender guru goes more in dept with things such as rendering, shading, sculpting, even geometry nodes and a little animation too. Not just modeling.
At 15 mins, where you copy table and scale for the leg. My leg scales down but towards the origin of the table. when I try to scale the leg up in Z im getting weird geometry. Also when you scale the table centre loop, when i scale it tries to scale upwards toward the table top, not out straight? ive redone the table several times exactly but cannot find what im doing wrong? using blender 3.1 Thanks!
ctrl a then press ctrl b then ctrl f and ctrl f plus g plus z. Ok, press ctrl 6 and 3, then ctrl 5 and f, and then type y. Then press ctrl z plus p and alt 12567 for the cyrillic character N, then alt f and you have finally added a cube to the scene
extrude: how much? a bit! how much is a bit for you? 2ft? 4ft? 400ft????
I'm stuck at 9:22.. ( wall lamp ) how can you add or extrude it with the same shape when u shaped it down? ..when I shape it down it looks like it's skewed lol.. I hope u can read this message
thx ;)
When I’m at the icing part, for some reason it’s not letting me scale the selected bottom vertices; it’s scaling the entire icing. What do I do?
Hiii thanks for the amazing tutorial. I am having problems modeling the wall lamp since I cannot cancel the extrusion and then scale it… the right click is just nor working properly, is there another way of doing it? Thnks!!
click extrude and directly press S, it works for blender 3.2
My circle mesh for the cup is transparent when i Try add it it’s at around 15:45 does anyone know what to do? Edit: NVM I got it I put selected NGON
Could someone help me please. I have a question, why I can't directly DRAG LMB to adjust the object? I have to press B + click and drag LMB to activate it. I just wanna direcly click and drag without pressin g B
Hello. I'm new to blender and I'm improving myself by watching your video. But in 2:18 , I press e and s after extrude, but my model does not take shape like yours. Where am I doing wrong? I will be glad if you answer. I'm sorry for my bad english
Is the same for me 😭😭😭
I can't seem to do my coffee cup because when I go on mesh, and select circle It's just giving me like blink circle without a plane just as his then I can Inset and then E. Can anyone help me?
17:01 when i try to do the third extrude on the coffee cup (make the turn) it just collapses in on itself, can someone tell me what i'm doing wrong?
Can you make a new video using Eevee render since it was preferred by everyone for less render time. It will be helpful if you could make at least a single video. Pls
13:09 I went into edit mode and used spin tool
has anyone figured out the curtain rod? when i move the subspace mod under the mirror, the two ends dont come together and i cant make the rod :[
edit: i got it lolz
12:26 it's not happening for me. Help me 🙁
can anyone explain for me from 1:00 , why he set the bevel weight to max, and then press 2 in edit mode ?
when i try to do 0:28 and 0:42 it just moves the whole object, how can i fix this?
Sir may i ask u this question , please tell me what is the rpm of Blender tutorial niches , and what's the average earnings per month. Thank you 👍❤ and good luck
At 0:31 what does he mean when he says in object mode shift select the wall. I can only shift select a wall in Edit Mode.
0:29. Does anyone know how to stretch the cube using the mouse, cause I can't figure it out. It just moves the cube.
how to clip in 4:05
i did it but faces are still going through eachother
12:29 rotation was not working for me although I worked in editing mode. I solved the problem via Object->set origin to 3d cursor
It's hard to follow the shortcut keys instruction cause I'm using Blender 3.5.0 and every shortcut key is changed now. I have to find it every time. Is there any way to know the about the keys. If anyone knows the trick please tell me it's getting really harder and it consumes so much of time. I even tried to find it in keymaps of blender but its not there. Really need help to find them out.
With the clock, the center always jumps to the currently active object, so I cannot rotate the cubes around the center of the clock. Any ideas on how to fix this? 😔 Thanks!
Ok, figured it out😁... for anyone having this issue: go to object menu -> set origin -> origin to 3D cursor
I hv a query in making rod plzz help
I need help on 5:50, I cant put a horizontal loop, it doesn't show, what did I do wrong?
nvm i got it but my curtains just rlly look ugly, can I do anything to change them without having to delete it
why the animation crashes at frame 250
5:10 wont let me put the x dimension as 1.5, it automatically makes it 0
Save brazil!
I'm a little confused after I exit isolated view, everything is on 50% opacity. What do i do?
try alt + z to escape x ray mode
why at 1:21 i do the same but no any action? it still is sharp no in curve?
same problem
I figured it out -- click on the thingy you just made. Hold shift and click on the wall (this is key bc you need to have both selected at the same time), then do ctrl L and hit copy modifiers. By copying the wall's modifiers onto the thingy, the mean bevel weight being turned down should curve it now.
If it still doesnt it is possible you are selecting the edges, but not the whole edge loops. You need to hold alt the select the edge loops.
If that doesnt work, turn off "emulate 3 button mouse" in your preferences under the input tab
11:04
Why is my alt+ left mouse not selecting the edges??
Same here and Im on a mac
1:07. Anyone else get a different result after hitting “copy modifiers.” I did it, and the figure is all curved with no edges.
