I’ve read all the books and the Witcher 3 is one of my favorite games and I genuinely love this show and I think season 3 is off to a great start. I don’t get all the hate either. I just see this adaptation as something different from the books. Obviously, I have issues with the show and I agree that they completely ruined the blood of elves storyline, but I really don’t get all the hate.
I don’t think this season is anywhere near as bad as season two. I actually really liked the first episode and the ball episode (despite some changes and weird design for POV on the ball episode).
I love this seasob so fkfjfj much thank you for making the wait until part 2 more bearable HOW MANY TIMES CAN I REWATCH THE SAME SHIT N STILL LAUGH DKDJDJDJDHD
However, i'm happy you still enjoy it. Show is nonsensical, often contradicts itself, adds more and more completely unnecessery plots that do not have any consequences (meaning that it often ends the same way it begins). It is completely ignpring source material, even disrespects it. And as slavic person, i feel deeply offended. When Philippa is spanking Dijkstra, i just cringed. It's some of most disgusting and unnecessery things i've seen on media. A lot of things are done specifically to spite book readers. And ofc, writers activily hate books. With that said, your opinion is valid. U have every right to like this show and i can understand why. If u watch it with no expectations, no knowladge of real lore and without too much worry, this show can be rather enjoyable. However, it is not good show. It fails at so many things and sometimes it completely doesn't have sense. Acting is sometimes straight up cringr and bad. U have right to subjectivly dissagree, however these are pretty much facts.
@@geraltofrivia7456@ geraltofrivia7456 I may call you a nerd. why be so serious? everyone has their own interpretation and their own taste for a story. you don't get a guarantee for a pure book-based adaption, no one promises that. In fact, you are being present an entertaining show. if the market is against it, the show will only be a loss to the showrunners. the fans can always turn back to the books and games and they can just ignore the show as if it never exist if they think it is terrible otherwise more discussion and criticizing and trolling will only help it gain more traction.
Give them a try. If you like the core concepts & characters of the series, and actually like it combined with good writing, the books and games (primarily Witcher 3) are an amazing experience.
I have never read the book, but i do know somwthing about them, played all the games. But i take the Netflix’s witcher as a witcher inspired story. As something that was made up inspired by The Witcher.
With adaptations from whatever the source material was (books, games, movies, comics etc.), I always try to think of the different version(s) as alternate universes which might not have unfolded the same as in the original telling. It makes the disappointment easier if a favourite scene or character is done differently.
That’s not a bad way to think of it, while I do wish I could’ve gotten accurate game/book for the show, I did enjoy this season the most (the other two weren’t really preferable to me) I wanted to imagine it as like an alternate/ inspired world of the Witcher, makes the show more enjoyable. But I still dislike sometimes how contradictory the show can be in itself.
I love how it feels like all the bards, Jaskier included, walked in from a separate genre entirely but he just somehow managed to adapt
I like that they're treating Jask better at least
You call this better
@@keandregreen5628 Unfortunately
Treating him better? They leave him behind every chance they get after his purpose is done and don't bother to tell him where they are going.
Seriously though, season 3 made me feel so much better about jaskier's existence than what s2 did ...
The way Geralt just drags that random woman at the end is killing me lmaooo😭
Geralt and Yennefer being goofy parents remind me of those bits from The Witcher 3.
I can’t get over how Ciri went after Geralt with the towel and he gave her the one finger warning 😂❤
I love that it's all pretty much Jaskier 😂😂
Cuz jaskier is the most chaotic thing about the entire show 😂
I love the fact that so much of the chaos is just Jaskier
i adore the fact that most of this is just jask lol
idc what other says, i love this season
Me too, literally the only place I’ve seen people complain is here on RUclips.
Two non-readers simping for Lauren
I se people complaing of it as an adaptation, maybe you liked it because you are seeing it as it own thing. Its a valid opinion
@@NgaBalkan I love the show and am reading the Tower of Swallows right now lol

I love all 3 seasons , and if anyone hasn't seen ' Blood Origins ', you really have to

Can we all agree that Valdo Marx and his crew were annoying AF?
Season 2 was like a bad fever dream, season 3 is like fever dream 2: electric boogaloo
Her rough HIIIIIJINKS
The editing 😂
I have never read the book or played the game but I thought the show is good because I think so, maybe I am wrong idk
Your not wrong :)
U r completely wrong :)

@2:11 Sorry, can’t help but feel Jaskier seems quite “breast-y” lying in the bed scene. XD

Sucks that they made Geralt a sidekick in his own show. :/
ciri has always been the main character
Abomination compared to the book, although dandelion is still pretty funny. A pox on it, I guess
I don’t like Jaskier with long hair.
