Everyone always thinks about Ciri and Yennefer when its mentioned that “people bound by destiny will always find each other” in regards to Geralt, but nobody ever talks about how Jaskier “randomly” stumbling upon Geralt time and time again (like the scene at 1:32)is proof that Jaskier is also a part of that Destiny
The pie thing is actually a good critique, he's saying Jaskers singing is really technically proficient but it's lacking real emotional substance, if anything his singing is too perfect and hence doesn't feel real.
Considering that Henry Cavill is about as emotive as a piece of cardboard, Jaskier is ABSOLUTELY needed on this show, in like every scene. Not only does he carry it, he lifts it up, throws it in the air, and catches it again, all while singing a ridiculous song!
