It was all about medical treatment. But, there is much more. I had professional and personal experience with cancer. What I during last 30 years saw or remarked, is the psychological aspect of the onkological disease, When I asked my man`s onkologist, what is the most important in the fight with cancer, he answered : good spirit and great amount of moving. I, otherwise, found as a remarkable point this : the person should have an aim, something very, very important as a duty, almost an aid to promote. Something so important that is greater than a person itself. My father who had a stomach cancer, and anastomosis failure after stomach extraction, was relieved from a hospital ( to die at home, which I did not know at that point ). He was at the end, but I did not think it is over and I gave him some vitamins, minerals, fluids, all intravenous. For many days. He was going better and better, but he wanted to write a book ( he is literature professor ) about our family by all means. That wish was so obsessive that he had no time to die. He only wanted to write it , so he forgetted his ilness, difficulties, all of that. He simply had to survive. So, he has written 5 books and lived 22 years more after that. Very simmilar behaviour I noticed by other patients or my relatives with cancer. who survived .If they had most important duty ( some adopted a child or bought a new house ) they simply were focused of life and how to menage that "impossible dream ". That is why I think tnat the main defence and main decision lays in our head. We can make a wunder .
Jane, It was great to interview you, and finally meet in person at Metabolic Health Summit. Maggie and I are looking forward to collaborating with you in the future!!! You are a Thriver Rock Star!!
That is wonderful! I wonder if your protocol will help with all cancers. And you are right, if you can't be reasonable healthy after radiation and chemo, what's the point! The Drs really do need to consider metabolic therapy along with the standard treatment. Unfortunately, many people do not have the means to understand research lingo....that's why the Drs should be doing this part. And I agree, having a personalized plan for your needs is paramount. Thanks for sharing your story!
It helps with all kind of cancer, search videos of professor Thomas Seyfried on metabolic theory of cancer. You can starve the cancer with diet and some non toxic drugs that blocks the glucosis and glutamin pathway
