Can I suggest something with all respect? There are many video editors out there where you can put your video and turn the image upside down. I use filmora for example. It's just one click. That way people will be able to see from your point of view and understand better what you're doing. I have no problem following your tutorial, I just said it to help if I can, cause at some comments I saw that's an issue. Thank for the pattern!
Hi Amanda what do you recommend doing when I make these for other people since I can't just hold it against my body? It's kinda tricky when I don't know how many rows to make for different bodies. Your video is very easy to follow thank you so much for sharing!
I am so glad that you find it easy to follow! I will start to add my recommendations for as many body types as possible in the future since this is a question I keep getting. To answer your question, it would be best to know their bra size. As a general recommendation, the band size should be.... A/B: 60 stitches C/D: 70 stitches For the cups, you could count the following number of stitches away from the center relative to different cup sizes... A: 6 B: 8 C: 10 D: 12 As for how many rows to do for height, it all depends on the person but generally you can use the following... A: 20 B: 22 C: 24 D: 26 The straps should all remain the same length. Hope this helped!
oh my gosh that would be a dream!!! I can definitely work on that. It might take me some time to whip up a pattern but I can definitely try! Thanks for the suggestion!
Just a question I followed the pattern exactly or so I thought but mine looks a lot wider then yours, do you skip the first and last stitch of each row?
I have done the 26 rows and mine is still wide. I only stitched up to the second last stitch. I tried looking back at the video and I'm wondering, at around 4:22 you don't show how to do the beginning of the row. We no longer chain one, but should I have been starting the row by crocheting into the second chain from the hook? The video cuts ahead so I don't get to see how you start.
D=12 C=10 B=8 A=6 It also just depends on your own body. I recommend holding your project up to your chest and placing your marker at the nipple point.
I am really sorry to hear that :( I wonder if I somehow had more yarn without knowing. I will be sure to make sure that doesn't happen again. So sorry!!! >.
+Amanda Luisa yeah same here. This top definitely takes two balls of "sugar n cream" 2.5 oz balls. I ran out and had to make a trip back to Michaels. Maybe her ball had 5oz+
+Mira Manchu I just finished it today :) it turned out great! I'm a size 34DDD and this fits my cup size and back. I would've went with 60 chain in the beginning and not 70 for a more snug look. I used two 2.5oz balls. I can send you pictures, what's your email?
The pattern turned out very nicely after I got enough yarn. It is nicely taught and your explanations about sizing helped me very much! Thank you

hi! for different cup sizes, do we add 26 rows as well?
How many even number of stitches do you do from the center relative to different cup sizes?
D=12
C=10
B=8
A=6

+Amanda Luisa okay, awesome! Thank you so much☺️ and the reply was quick😘😘 new subie☺️
+Jalah Horton of course! I grand reply as soon as I see my notification! Thanks girl!
Is there a way to make this into a full length shirt instead of a crop top? Do you still think it would turn out ok? Thanks!
I would just extend the bottom until it is the length that you want!
How do you keep your cup area molded in your icon it looks like it stays
Question: 95 inches is 7 ft! 95 cm is about 3 ft. How long is your finished back strap? Thanks!
Surfiknitsta I would say it is closer to 95cm
Thanks!

Fox angel No, only in the stitches you marked

Dang, I used an entire roll of that yarn in a discontinued color and am not even half way :/
Juhi Oh no!!! Try looking for it on Amazon!!!
Amanda Luisa ill try thank you. Beautiful tutorial nonetheless 🙂
You are so lovely❤️your yarn is dark and your camera is far and wrog sid
One ball of Sugar n Creme yarn barely covered half the body of the top. And I'm just a B cup. Wasted my time since I just had 1 ball of that colour.
I am really sorry to hear that :( I wonder if I somehow had more yarn without knowing. I will be sure to make sure that doesn't happen again. So sorry!!! >.

+Lyza714 I still want to try it with a larger ball. It's well taught and I want to learn to make fitted clothing. How did your top turn out?
