I literally can’t believe I remember this from the Matrix movies, of which I have no particular affection: In one of the films Agent Smith mentions that in the early iterations of the matrix tried to be a paradise for people but their bodies rejected it so they had to better emulate real society.
I enjoyed your discussion. I am worried. How Roger Ailes was ever allowed to manipulate mislead the conservative audience is beyond me. Fox News was a bomb ticking away. Thank you for your thoughts.
I grew up in Paraguay, South America during a right-wing fascist dictatorship installed with the approval and assistance of the USA. 35 years of dictatorship! After many decades of military juntas and ruthless regimes, democratic governments emerged among devastated economies, plagued with corruption and enormous economic inequalities. The "lost decades" Here is a text from Wikipedia: The participation of the United States in regime change in Latin America involved US-backed coup d'états which were aimed at replacing left-wing leaders with right-wing leaders, military juntas, or authoritarian regimes.[1] Intervention of an economic and military variety was prevalent during the Cold War. Although originally in line with the Truman Doctrine of containment, United States involvement in regime change increased following the drafting of NSC 68, which advocated more aggressive actions against potential Soviet allies.[2]
In the first Matrix movie, Agent Smith explains that the first Matrix was rejected by the humans' minds because humans couldn't accept that level of utopian perfection. They rejected it, and everybody died.
1:21 The exact problem I have with this world. The crazy inhumanity driven by stupidity. Thank you so much, Asif, for validating me. Happy I stumbled on this, Nimesh is the shit. I relate with the anti-system, stoner, realism. Politics is boring unless we're talking about it from the outside looking in, and most people are in. I'm out of it, just watching our country slowly crumble from the pressure of the worlds issues and thinking one president is gonna change all of our history and the path we've chosen.
Jill Stein is PoS grifter. Look, I’m not thrilled at how Kamala is not talking about Gaza. But if there’s more hope for progress with Kamala than the guy who has an Israeli settlement named after him.
In the Matrix, they revealed this was like their 7.0 version of the matrix. That there’s been many Neo’s in the past. In the previous versions of the Matrix, they did a whole utopia. Everything was too perfect where the human mind rejected it. So they fine tuned their own algorithm to incorporate levels of suffering so that it’s basically more believable. The movie wasn’t as good as the first the but world exploration was top notch
Looking from the outside. Coming from a pretty level headed person. I say this because its something that most Americans wouldn't even want to entertain. The fact that America is an empire and its politics have helped fund the genocide in Gaza. Think about America's military complex. America has helped to create so much misery.
But we’re taught we’re the best. Sadly people become complacent and don’t care enough to do their own research and now young people are falling into the same traps older generations did but instead of tv it’s social media
Agent Smith explains in the first film that the machines tried giving humans utopias but they failed because "humans define their reality through pain and suffering", an analysis which this election cycle really rather supports.
The matrix covered in the first movie that people couldn't handle a eutopia, so that they had to give people a reason to struggle. What Neo realized was that his being was engineered by the architect, as a catalyst valve, there was always going to be a revolution, so the machines made one they could control. Neo gave his life by making a deal, they get him but the machines and people learn to coexist. The fourth movie wrapped up this point by showing humans and machines living freely together.

Exactly! I listened to some of those Imams and I'm like how are you proving a political point by electing trump when normal politics won't even exist in 4 years under him 🤯
Kamala supports the current House bipartisan immigration policy. It would be more strict than current rules. Trump’s administration built 52 miles of new primary border barriers and provided maintenance of 458 total miles where the wall was smaller/dilapidated. Politifact. Sorry love the show. Listening while working.
But you're looking at immigration through one lens and that's the problem. Bush didn't build much wall, but doubled the number of border patrol by 6,000 agents, which resulted in a heavily-monitored border. Obama built lots of the fence, including repairing a lot of damaged fence, introduced DACA and he went down the route of mass deportations. He deported more in his first term then Trump did or Bush in his whole 8 years. Trump focused on the wall. There is no one thing fits all. This is why this boarder bill that Biden worked on with Republicans covered all of those areas and would have made a big impact if it had passed through Congress; increased Boarder Patrol, more wall being built, fixing damaged wall/fence, DACA and deportations. The wall isn't going to deal with the people who enter legally, but never leave, thus become illegal - the boarder bill looked at that. Also facts.
So, to correct you, Kamala has a brother in law not a biological one. Her sister's husband, Tony West, works for Uber as their Chief Legal Officer. He also worked for President Obama and then Pepisco. He met Maya Harris, Kamala's sister at Stanford, while studying law. Do your research before putting out false or inaccurate information.

They didn't necessarily have to be from the higher castes (though they often were), but they were the people who had the resources to migrate to a country on the other side of the world. After 2014 though, i.e. after Modi won and manipulated the media in his favor (not saying media was unbiased before), Indians moving to the US became increasingly more conservative. On the whole, second generation Indians, and Indians who migrated between 2000 - 2013 are the more liberal bunch. The others are conservative.
