This was a staple of my gaming childhood, and now I've just finished playing the first quest with my 6-year-old and 4-year-old boys. I can't even tell you how fun and nostalgic it was to have them direct me exactly where to go and what to do throughout the game, and then beat it a few days ago. They wanted to play Second Quest, but I wasn't interested in running around everywhere randomly trying to find the levels or using a guide, so I just watched your speedrun, which was awesome. Thanks for keeping the narration clean as well, because then I could watch it again with the boys! Great video and congrats on the great run!
Wow, so many lucky moments with drops and spawns :O GG and GZ with new PB and WR. Some of your runs have bad luck in them, but boost your luck enough to make you get a PB again... unbelievable!
I really like second quest, but they both give cool challenges. The restarts at the beginning is to manipulate the leevers to drop money and the goriyas to drop bombs
Why do you skip getting the heart container from Aquamentas (board 1)? There are other places in the run where you go way more than 1 step out of your way to get a heart container.
because later in level 2 he uses up+A to warp back to the dungeon entrance after getting the recorder. Since he didnt pick up the heart container in Level 1 he will still be on 3 max hearts and thus full health and has the beam sword

PS: I tweeted you on X regarding Zelda Classic. Dunno if you ever did it. But I have a ZC Quest that would be fun for ya to do. :3

Zelda is my favorite. My dad and I worked together to beat it when I was a kid. Good memories!

The room before the Triforce has a gohma, so you need the bow to finish level 6.

How can you get trough the solid stones ?
There's a collision glitch when you turn around for 1 frame on a specific pixel that lets you clip halfway into the block

@@BIGROHAN28 it's slower to pick them up. Also in level 9 after using up+a at the silver arrow you can get a fairy and get beam sword back
That was a short lived world record. Damn.
