  • 60 year old skater Neil Hackett still thriving on skateboarding. Skateboarding is a lifestyle and without it a lot of people woild struggle dealing with day to day life. Skateboarding can be an escape as much as it is an expression. Hearing and listening to why people skate, especially those thatbhave skates for 40 years, will always be an inspiration.

Ps: I skated through my teenage years and I completely battered myself as you’d expect from someone age 10-17, one car accident and one work injury, now if I walk on it or stand on it too long I have to lie down. This guy looks cool to hang out with. Why do most adults have to force themselves to be boring and "live their age" It is absolutely soul crushing and depressing to be around people like that

How have I never seen this guy before? This is beautiful! I had a dream not long ago that i was rollerblading and got some big air over a parked car and it felt so good. When I woke up, the first thing I wanted to do was put on my old rollerblades and cruise around the culdesac. I realized how out of shape I was and im in my late 20s. Stuff like this inspires me to take advantage of the short time we have and enjoy what you love before your knees and back give out. Thank you so much for sharing this, I know what I'm doing this weekend ⛸🛹

Dudes the embodiment of what skateboarding is. I’ve been skating since 2002, so about 9 years old. There’s just something about it. When you wake up everyday and look outside and it’s beautiful out and all you think about is skating, but when you look outside and it’s raining so you get sad, that’s when you know skateboarding has you.

This is a great story. You have a couple of videos with 100k+ views. From my perspective as a random viewer, they're your most viewed videos because the titles tell a story that everyone can relate to. Basically, I want to be doing stuff I love when I'm 60, because growing old sucks. That's the common thread. Thanks for making content!!!

God bless the skateboard OGs, without them fighting and grinding to make it what it is the sport would have faded away and we would've never gotten the privilege. From Tony Alva to Brewce Martin and all in between love you guys.
