Man, I ain't never seen some of his tricks!!!! He's really himself. So rare in this world. Dude shreds!!!!!
Yes totally unique
He’s awesome ya own style been doing it for 40 years yep
Gives me inspiration to do my own thing ad well that's damn cool
Nothing original here. He 50, so he grew up watching videos like Public Domain or the Search for Fu Man Chu. Powell Perelta movies were loaded with street skaters that did alot of these tricks. You can tell he was influenced by Ray Barbee and Mike Vallely.
Original moves
I am 54 , still skating. Now i skate with my two sons one late teens another in 30s. They get stoked when we head out as I am in a very small group of old dogs still rolling in our town.
Yes so glad to hear this stuff man 👌
Im 51 still ridin ..... since 1979 my uncle bring me my first board from usa... sk8 or die or die trying .... greetings from gemany ! stay blessed
I'm 57 and haven't skated in years. It hurts my knees to even read your post, but God bless you for still being out there doing it!
Im 97 years old, stil skatingg and fcking some girls. Now im skating with my grand² children and my grandchildren and my son too..
I am 90 yrs old. Now i skate with my 2 grandsons, both 65 yrs old. We are lazy folk, so we just pull off amateur tricks like some flat ground 900 laser flips, just the easy stuff.
older guy killing it.
extremely cool and fantastic to see.
Yes he is the best
Watching old guys who still skate is so heartening.
Yes ! But please don’t call him old , he is young as me
51 isn’t old. I know when you’re a kid even 30 seems old but if you look after yourself you can stay young until your 50’s this guy is fit healthy and still incorporates play into his life. We get old when we stop playing.
Japanese don’t really look old man
They are still look young
Hey now !
I'm in my 40s and haven't skated since my late teens but seeing this guy do it in his 50s makes me wanna get a new set up
Glad to hear you should do it for sure 👌👌
do it, but be warned lol youre gonna feel it for sure, when i started back up, im 37, i hadnt skated for about 12 years, my joints couldnt handle the abuse, especially my hips, take it slow, and just enjoy, also i dont really care how if i look like a whack job so i wore pads on my knees and wrist guards, and honestly, i love being able to fall and not get too banged up, but i know its taboo. doesnt matter to me, i still enjoy skating, and you can too, i feel like im at peace with myself when im skating, like it completes me.
I just pictured a dad at the skate shop building a new board like uhhhm _yeah_ it’s for my son, better get him a helmet too! 😜
But you won't u
I’m in my 67 and I keep doing my shove it’s three boards high smoking a blunt shades on
I KNOW THIS GUY HE'S A LEGEND IN OSAKA I LIVE HIS STYLE HE DOES OLD SCHOOL TRICKS WHICH IS SO DOPE RARELY SEE ANYBODY DO IT ANYMORE AHH かっこいdす
Oh yes !!
I instantly thought of Andy Anderson ! Same vibe ! 🥰
His board control and his visual comfort on the deck is amazing.
Yess
Everything he does is so smooth, it seems almost simple but then I replay it over and over it it's actually really difficult.
Yes he know the physic for sure 👌👌
I'm 51 and still learning no comply's.. I LOVE watching Dal's smooth style. Maybe I can aspire to that one day, too! :)
Yeah do it ! I like dal as well , it look so fun to skate like him
just learn them switch 180, easiest trick ins kateboarding...
so, you know that thing we skaters do when puttzing around waiting for our turn. where we kinda just kick the bottom of the board and pressure flip it.
doing those wierd little varial flips or impossibles just standing behind/next to the board.
find out which way you can do that easily. i do it with my front foot, so i do mine switch.
then just work on the clipping of the toe, the toe thing is easy when you think about it as a trick and not no comly.
so get your foot in the pocket where you would do stupid pressure shit. then put your other toe in the center of the board. but keep your front foots heel on the ground. but toe on the board.
now, pop the board, its like snapping your fingers. you need to create some pressure, then it goes snap crackle pop.
the 180 makes it really easy because all you do is stick your back foot in the pocket, and when you pop/scoop just follow the board around. and push. then step on the board
you just did a switch nocomply 180. its super steezy. and super eazy.
i learned it like 15+ years ago. i still cant do a normal nocomply. but i can switch 180 nocompy down stairs.
@@oartalk How have you got to the ripe old age of 48 and you still have this little understanding of biology?
get a shin pad lol
I love his simple style and fun way of skating. Also, The right word here is Veteran, not old. This man can still wake up in the morning and skate so he's not old. old is when you have a nurse cleaning your ass, That's old.
Never said he was old :) the guy skated for 7 hour straight that day
I never want to be so old a nurse is wiping my ass. Im checking out before it gets to that point. Dont want it to end like that.
No, he is objectively old.
If you skate still you ain't old no matter what age. It's the fountain of youth. Keep on skating everyone. Use it or loose it. I'm 44 this gives me hope and years of skating I can still do! That dude has style and guy you want to have a sesh with. Great video
@@tombell1906 Tony Alva is what 66 years old and he's still skating!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It is awesome to see when older people keep living life fully. Pops definitely thinks outside the box on his tricks and the lines he takes.
Yes really creative
This was so dope. Love the skate culture in Japan. Dal has such a dope style. You could tell he's skated that first spot for years.
It was amazing to see a style not influenced by anyone in America.
@@dorjedriftwood2731 My city of San Francisco has the greatest skaters with the best "style" I've ever seen! ruclips.net/video/zIkWDLHOD9w/видео.html Amazing really! ruclips.net/video/2d6TBfIZzh0/видео.html
Yo that guy in white has some STYLE brother 😮 .bravo Sir.
Yes that guy is killing it !!
@@djpoopypants4741 thanks
@@djpoopypants4741 i got it the first time
@@djpoopypants4741 Hey man, life gets better. Just stick with it.
I'm 36 and I'm barely learning to skate. Seeing this older gentleman still rocking it gives me hope to develop my skills as a skater.
Yes never to late ☺️
Same, I'm 33 😅
Rad old guy, heaps of style. I'm 49 so love seeing the older skaters. Also how about that faultless line by the skater in grey!
Glad your still at it 👌 Oki the guy in grey is so good 🇯🇵🛹
i just followed the guy in grey. oki i think but he was a couple skate parts out im pretty pump to check out
@@TechkNEiK yeah bro 👌mikesb_6 if you want to follow as well 😂
I used to skate Triangle Park on occasion between 2005 - 2007 and it's awesome to see Dal and Chopper still doing their thing! Legends.
Yes they are still at it for sure
Do you have any recommendations for where to skate/see skaters in Japan? I’m tryna find spots or events but not having much luck! :)
Really cool video! Love how his style developed mainly from his limitations to create something that is uniquely him. It’s like art. When the younger skaters incorporated some of his style it really added something special to the tricks that made them stand out. Subscribed!
Japanese skaters are simply the best. Their style is firm and precise. Watch the guy in the grey shirt. I am 47 and still skating as well 3-4 times a week.
Oh yes true legend right there ! Keep going 👌
More like a dance , lower risk of injury , he's having fun and staying spry which is all that matters . He also gets to wear cool clothes and not look old 🤘
Nice
What a great guy! Very inspiring to see him having fun every minute of it. I couldn't stop smiling.
Glad you enjoy ☺️
Getting back into skating as I’m bout to turn 40. Not taking it so serious and just riding for fun has really made me feel like a kid again. Dude has me even more pumped to go get a sesh in!
Yeaaa bro get it 👌👌
I love Japan, it always feels so good to be there, the people are amazing!! This man's creativity and talent is awesome!
Yes thx for your input
The Japanese kid was spectacular!!!!!! Japan is crushing sk8boarding right now…
Yes i agree! So good that guy
@@Theskatenomad and you are wicked good as well :)
Itz amazing, bro! I begun skating late (I'm 34, have fibromyalgia and some sports lesions). I was so happy skating but then this nagging groin injury came after a dislocated disk that doesn't go away. With fybro, I'm used to a lot of chronic pain but this groin pain is debilitating when it hits. I'm in the process of accepting I'm too old and fucked up for it.
Seeing this guy inspires me to not give up and sparks hope inside me.
Thanks!
Dude I’m so happy this video gave you hope ! I hope you will never stop having of a board
he looks 70, not 51......Interesting
Exactly my thought. He's like from those jokes: gradpa is not old, he is 27, just works in an ad agency
I wonder what he’s been through
It s because this was filmed 20 years ago
Yeah
Right
This vid is so awesome and heartwarming! I'm 47 and I still skate. Props to this 51 year old young man! 🙏🏽❤️
Oh yes !! 🙏
This is what happens when you quit counting birthdays after 24.
Ahahahah damn dude
It's almost like the spot influenced his style in a kind of symbiotic relationship. Love it. 🤙🤙
Well said my friend
There was a dude at the park last week that was 52 and was trying a 360 flip over a hip onto his tail (in a stall)(also it's really hard to explain cause it was so weird looking). Dude landed it twice and it was fucking insane. I hope to be as rad when I'm as mature as these men.
Yeeeee
Yup the eightys sure got me interested in the tricks he was pulling off learnt from friends and idiot marks fosho .
Yeeeee 👌
What do you call a man with no shins? Toe-Knee!
TONY HAWK IS 55 YEARS OLD....
Well i don’t have the budget to make a video with tony hawk
Yo this is so sick!! I will definitely check out that skatepark and shop next time I visit Osaka. Thanks for putting this video together and showing the scene there.
Ah man ! Really happy you enjoy it . I make those videos for this very reason ! Enjoy 😊
- i bet you 10$ my uncle is cooler than your uncle.
- ok bet. -10$
Ahah sure
Wow !
This guy's got some crazy tricks!
It's so all-terrain, and adapts to any situation as if it could never fall over.
Yea this guy got control for sure
I'm 47 years old, that's tricks are from the old school, new tricks are insane!
Yess
The man is literally one with his board 🙌 … that form ….super smooth….🔥 definite veteran…💯
Oh yes most definitely
The search is over ‼️
You found Animal Chin ‼️👍👍👌
Welcome to top comment of the year
love the videos bro as always, just a tip bro you should change the title to "50 years old japanese skater etc." to engage the viewers to click the vid
Thanks for the tip man ! I still struggle with title and thumbnail which is one of the hardest thing to do on youtube
Badass ..the Elder One nailed it....slick tricks. The smoothest is orange shirt .....black pants. Lol...yeah dude..this vid rocks
Oh thank you 👌 I’m the orange shirt 😄
I really love their unique tricks. Ive never seen someone drop in sideways like that!
Same man
Are all skateparks in Japan casually filled with people who absolutely shred? That one kid pieced together lines like he was ampro
Dude that line was also warmup first try . I was mind blown . But yes it’s a common thing in Japan 🇯🇵
Whenever he gets in that board he becomes 35 years younger!
Yes indeed 😭
HIs old school style is amazing to see no one really does this anymore what an amazing experience and video thank you
Thanks for showing some love ❤️
Japan skaters seem so awesome tricks I’ve never seen before !
Yess always something new 👌
The beauty and magic of tight trucks
Ahah oh yes
his tricks r cool and stylish asf dont get me wrong, but I died laughing when u hit that double kickflip randomly in between clips like chill out bro 🤣🤣
Ahahah i wanted to double flip those stair for ever ahah
@@Theskatenomad it was just like that one trick was way better than everything the old man was doing so it was hilarious.
@@talecy7938 nah Dal's line at 2:55 is way sicker, and harder. Try doing that backside disaster down the stairs.
I wish my knees would let me skate again ! Good times.
Knee are the worst
looks like so much fun! may not all speak the same language but you can all share the skating! ❤
Yes exactly 👌🇯🇵
Man the Japanese kids rio hard. They’re style is insane !!
that dude is such an inspiration!
Yes !!
This man is the coolest person that has or will ever exist.
I agree
7:16
That is the first time ive seem a no comply in the middle of a manual
Dude had alot of tricks dialed in
Bet he skates that park all the time true skate rat steeze
insane!
Oh yes ! That was crazy that trick first try to i think
👌
I think he is older than 51!! Which makes it even more rad if he is older.
Man! That 51yr man is like a spring chicken when he's on that board! Love seeing that youthful energy in someone half way through life.
This guys have so much energy 👌
It's almost like Dale doesn't do typical 'tricks', he just like merges with his environment and manipulates himself to whatever he is exposed to, creating this super fluid, relaxed flow where he doesn't seem like he's even trying.... like a kid just exploring without judgement. Super cooL! 🙌😄
Yeah it’s has his own vision for sure!
the fist bump after the bow is so crazy. japanese culture is something else.
Yess ! Love the Japanese 👌
I love seeing skating without multiple tre flip, kick flips and super complicated tricks
Same man !!
Hes that one side quest that was better than the game
Ahah yes
50 is young these days.... 25 2.0... shreeeeeeedddddddddd
Wow love his style! It looks like fingerboard moves
Ahah yes i agree
@@Theskatenomad I wanted to ask, does he use grip tape?
He has that street style, very cool
Yee
I was there in June, didn't even realized this was this famous spot... Shame on me...
Well we cannot know everything about a country
I have the same age than him and i can't even get out of bed in the morning! LOL i used to skate with Tony Hawk and the Powell Peralta when they were on tour in France in 1991-92 we also skated with The Blind team : There were Jason Lee we also skated with Natas etc....
Damn bro must have been some crazy time ! Respect
@@Theskatenomad thank you but you have way better skills than me at the time
@@Theskatenomad but yes i saw thise guys when they started

Yes true that

Yes exactly!!
I am 58 years old. But i’m riding OneWheel….
Living in Sweden 🇸🇪👋🇸🇪👋🇸🇪
So cool! Can’t wait to be in Sweden
Japan just has free underground parks?!?!?! Thats so cool!!!!!!!
Yess
Still ripping - total respect. Touch of the old-skool/Andy Anderson about him.
Ohh yeah he is super oldschool
Dang. I've been to that park a hundred times and never once saw somebody skating.
You need to go there at night 👌
あ、僕映ってるんですけど、かんべんしてー
This gives me hope. I'm 41 & just getting back on my decade old Chocolate board. 30 minutes and my legs dude...dead. But ima keep going. Ty for this video.
Your welcome it will get easier over time
I love the old man's style, absolute banger!
Yes indeed
@@Theskatenomad Not saying yours isn't good bro haha don't take it the wrong way, you're an excellent skater. It's just that dude has that main character energy, you know.
This just goes to show It’s never too late to learn new things. Youngsters nowadays have a wrong misconception of setting the aging bar too low, over classifying 40s and 50s guys as “ senior individuals” with the actual official minimum elderly age beginning at approximately 60 years old. I for one am 54, still going strong on my road bike and thus far have no problem keeping up pace with guys even over HALF MY AGE in long distance rides. Been riding bikes since I was 11, took part in fast paced criterium races, and continued on riding to this day. My bike is my regular commute to and from work 31 km. ride one way, back and forth each day everyday. Since I cannot afford to buy a car. Occasionally I ride solo like 65 - 70 km. distance like a walk in the park without any complaints. To put into perspective, whether a guy is below 20 or over 60 so on, it doesn’t matter. Long as the individual’s physical ability and willpower is present.
I totally agree on everything you said. I myself cannot relate yet of being 60 but i will try everything to be in good shape when i reach that age
Awesome video man just found your channel today and I can’t stop watching it. I’m become a fan for your channel 🙏🏽🙇🏻♂️
Awesome! Thank you so much

This guy comply's to nothing😍😍 He makes no effort to even try to comply. He's lived the entire 51 years of his life not complying... probably got the nickname Master Non-Comply
Ahah don’t need to complete trick ls to be a total badass 🙏

Mad props to this guy, I still dream that I can skate and when I wake up I feel happy.
Can always skate our memories. Never to late to at least just cruise around 🙏

No complying are completely valid at this age shiii
Of course ! ☺️
Just found this channel. Super cool keep it up! Just getting back into skating 32M
Welcome aboard!❤️🙏
There is more joy and life in that guys eyes than in any adult I’ve seen for many years, and when I saw that it actually made me cry a little. How dead inside we have all become, all our dreams crushed into dust. What’s the one dream, we have left? To make a bunch of money with some bullshit. That’s our best idea of living. What have we become. We are drifting further away from humanity.
You are absolutely right 🙏🙏
Greet with traditional Japanese bow and fist bump #culturefusion
Ahah hell yeah
Koston is 48 still doing front blunt kickflips and switch 360 heels
I’m 29 and i cannot do any of those tricks 😂
I live and skate in Ibaraki. The nearest park is one box and a weird pump pool thing. Only old dudes actually skate. The young pups in Japan just walk around carrying their popsicles trying to look tough.
Ahah oh damn sound harsh . Should i come make a video ?
It’s interesting how the everyone in the world started to look the same (U.s. american) in the last 20 years or so. Globalisation/social media effect.
What you mean ? 😅
Wow tu es québécois? T'es une machine mon gars! Big love from QC!
Thanks mon chum 🙏
45 and still beating little kids in skate with nollie backside flips and bigflips😂 Never liked gym culture
Ahaha skating is superior
