  • Hands down, one of the most confusing aspects of using the NASM OPT Model is knowing where to start new clients on their first program. This is especially true if the client has multiple issues or deficiencies as shown during your assessments.
    So, what should you do?
In this video, Axiom Fitness Academy Instructor Joe Drake, explains that it's not always black and white, but teaches how to think critically and make a good starting decision.
The Axiom Fitness Academy helps new and aspiring personal trainers achieve long-lasting and lucrative careers through hands-on training and expert guidance. We’ve partnered with the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) to provide the best online and hands-on personal training certification exam prep course that will give you the edge you need to succeed as a certified personal trainer in as little as 10 weeks.
Backed by our test-pass guarantee, our students have higher exam passing rates, get better jobs, and learn how to avoid costly mistakes.

As a new trainer, it would be helpful to see a video of a cpt meeting with a first time client (Going through the assessments, questions and what might be good movements for first sessions.)
Thanks for all you do and share!

    Thank you!
What do you do in a case where a client can not squat all the way down, but his knees are not caved in, and everything else seems good.
How to make him do the full deep squat?
I know that usually it is about tight calves or hips, but do you have any video where do you explain this?
