Skin Aqua Super Moisture Gel has to be my FAVOURITE sunscreen ever! The 2020 formulation has less UV filters which I'm not happy about. Cancer council active is still my ride or die.
Which Cancer Council product particularly? I love the new Skin Aqua Super Moisture Gel 2020. I apply this as my base layer or first coat because it is moisturizing then I apply a second layer with a different sunscreen, usually Purito Comfy Water or the new 2020 Anessa Skincare Milk (the gold bottle) if I'm spending more time outside.
I missed watching your videos since my Grandma passed away last month thank you for unconsciously making it easier for me to cope up somehow Dr Dray because of the videos you make really makes me happy
Hi Dr. Dray!! I’m actually from the Philippines and I also use the Verdio Gel Sunscreen. It does not have any whitecast, but it actually makes my face shinier than usual. It also irritates my eyes when i sweat through it. That’s what it’s effects are on me tho, so I don’t know about the others. Thought I’d share my experience 😊.
Have you tried the milk variant and the spf 30 for kids variant? I am very curious since the milk variant is 35g for P415 compare to those 2 that are both 80g for P490
I’d love to see you do a review on Biossance’s new “Squalane + Zinc Sheer Mineral Sunscreen.” It’s described as a lightweight, deeply hydrating broad spectrum spf 30 lotion, without any white cast. But as someone with dry skin, it sounds too good to be true.
Bought the Hada Labo UV White Gel on your recommendation and it's my holy grail! Just ordered the Omi Verdio essence and I'm excited to try it out! Thanks for the in-depth sunscreen reviews :)
I would love to a see a video about skin care products & ingredients to avoid while pregnant & products you recommend to switching to. Like sunscreens (chemical or physical), acne products (salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide, what percentage is safe to use, or avoid both), moisturizers, is there an alternative for retinol, snail slime, hyaluronic acid, chemical exfoliators, etc...love your video 😊🖤
@@DrDrayzday Just saw the video, thank you so much! You recommended azelaic acid for acne, is 10% of the ingredient safe? I found The Ordinary has 10% azelaic acid face wash. Is that product safe to use?
Thanks for the suggestion!! I’m pregnant and have been struggling. I think I’ve watched her old video. It was ok. The Azelaic isn’t too helpful for me tho (I’m a lighter-skinned Black woman tho). I’ve heard to avoid SA and BP I think. Tried to avoid chem sunscreens and failed lol
Hey doctor dray, I wanted to recommend to you some other female-fronted doctor youtube channels I’ve recently discovered that I think you’d like! In case your interested in supporting them or anything! But also they just give out really good quality content and information and I think they deserve more of a following...they are AskDoctorJo and mama doctor jones. One is a physical therapist and one a gynecologist! Been loving them !! Anyways hope you check em out and anyone else reading this comment! Thank you doc!
I've given up coffee for almost three weeks now because I'm teeth whitening. I am so tempted to brew a cup while watching your videos. I really miss my coffee!
lol reading your comment rn while i have my white strips on. but as a tip, i drink my coffee with a straw to keep it from staining my teeth! hope that helps you :)
I’m glad that you liked the verdio sunscreens! Their sunscreens have been my favorite for a few years. I prefer the one in the tube format. It’s easier to carry around.
Using a tinted sunscreen on top of sunscreens that are too white is actually a great tip for being able to use up what you have on hand. I do this all the time because I hate returning things lol
I purchased the CVS Health Clear Zinc Broad Spectrum Sun Lotion SPF 50 today and it is fantastic! Very affordable, doesn’t sting my eyes and doesn’t pill when applied later in the afternoon. Thank you for finding this gem Dr. Dray!
CVS is really good with their dupes. I like their dupe for CeraVe AM better than the original. It has an SPF of 30, I have never noticed a cast even though it does have zinc. I use it every day as both my moisturizer and sunscreen. You may want to give it a try. It’s not sweat resistant though. Just FYI CVS website says all their dupes are cruelty free.
I love the DRMTLGY sunscreen However I find that it doesn’t play well with other items. For example, If I try to use it over my vitamin C serum or place foundation over it it does pill. I do use it on no make up days and the tint is enough that it evens out my skin tone so it’s fine I do enjoy it very much.
Enjoying your content! Love your practical, informative, no nonsense approach to educating your public. You look so happy and healthy. Much love from a fellow medical professional ❤
Sunscreen I am using is Equate Beauty Age Guard Face (Walmart) SPF 110, Ultimate anti- aging protection. Water resistant (80 minutes). Claims to deeply protect skin from harmful UVA radiation . A 3 fluid oz. 88 ml tube is about $6.00 at Walmart. It is a white cream and doesn’t leave a case. I don’t wear face makeup, just under eye concealer and lip balm. But this sunscreen sinks in and is not greasy. Active ingredients: avobenzone 3%, homosalute 15%, octissalte 5%, octostyle et 10%, oxybenzone6%. I don’t really think it has good as others, but it is inexpensive. Marketed as a dupe for Neutrogena Facial Sunscreen. When I first started using it about a year ago it was SPF 50, but about 3 months ago they increased the SPF to 110. Thanks Dr. Dray
I have been looooving absolutely loving the CVS tub sunscreen! Gives such a luminous “glow” to the face! 😂 plus I work for CVS, and our store items are 30% off so it’s ACTUALLT dirt cheap for me!
jam6web || I have a medium skin tone, and I don’t find it to be greasy at all! The white cast fades as I rub it in, and it gives such a nice “glow”. And that’s coming from an oily skin type person lol
Ohhh that's awesome, I really wanna try it! I dont know if you ever heard or tried the Olay sensitive skin spf 30 and if you have, do you know how it compares? Also isn't the 5% of zinc too low? I'm honestly not sure- i've been hearing different things.
Perrie || the Olay one unfortunately has fragrance in it, so I steer clear 😆 a lot of her products do so be careful! The percentage may be low, but I do stay on top of reapplying every 2 hours (even though I still only work indoors) and the sun protection factor on it is 50; which I believe, according to Dr. is sufficient enough :)
@@KapuaKuheana Actually the Olay spf 30 doesn't have fragrance! Dr. Dray even recommended it back during another one of her spf videos (if i'm not mistaken). And because I love it, I was curious to how it was vs the CVS one. That being said I think i'm still going to go ahead and try it soon because it seems super promising! ty! ♥
I am OBSESSED with the CVS clear zinc lotion. This product doesn't feel sticky IMO. I use it on my neck, face, chest, hands, and arms daily. No noticable cast. I will try it on my face next. Typically I use the Aqua Gel you mentioned on my face or the La Roche Posay Anthelios SPF Serum. My skin is very dry and mature with pigment/freckles, malasma, and texture.
I’m all about that Skin Aqua. The one you reviewed prior is cruelty free unless you drop the bottle on someone’s head reaching for it on a shelf. Decaffeinated coffee i call tampered with coffee it’s almost unbiblical how dare! 🧐 Have a shot of caffeine Dr. Dray! Happy Friday and great earrings! ☕️⭐️☕️⭐️👌🏻
The Biore UV Kids sunscreen (yellow bottle) has been reformulated this year! It’s now called Biore UV Kids Pure milk (it is now a 100% mineral sunscreen, still fragrance and alcohol free). would love to know your thoughts on this since you loved the previous version!! Thank you❤️
Sakura Davis I love this sunscreen, it’s my HG! For reference, I have sensitive, acne prone, dry skin and it works well for my sensitive skin. I would really like a review on this reformulated version by Dr. Dray too.
I have discovered that the cerave cream in a tub dries to a film that does not play well with many things. It's sneaky because you may think that your sunscreen, tinted bb cream, foundation etc. is what is pilling, but it is really the cerave cream that starts to come apart if something moist goes on top. I have experimented with a variety of things and alone they are fine, but if you put it over the dried cerave cream and it pills. It becomes worse the more you rub something in, even gently. The cerave lotion doesn't pill and neither does their cream in the purple smaller jar. So before you blame a product, if you are using cerave in a tub try a different moisturizer with your problem product. In the evening, with nothing going over the top, the cerave tub cream is fine.
Hope you're having a wonderful and blessed day Dr Dray.. I'm not in the best of spirits due to the pandemic. We already have 5 deaths in our small city. It's depressing 😩
People say, “If you have a darker skin tone,” so often. Can you specify maybe a range of what you mean? I’m a lighter to medium-skinned black woman (slightly lighter than Kerry Washington) and even I struggle because I’ll buy things and they’re awfully whitecast/purple. If it’s a “little dark” for you, it’ll be super light for me most likely.
LuvanMusiq I think it is relative to her skin tone, so if it’s a little too dark for her chances are it won’t suit you. You really have to try until you find the right one. I remember she was talking about a sunscreen which would probably not be suitable for darker skin tones and it suits me perfectly, so it all depends.
Paquita El Maestro Yeah, don’t get me wrong, I definitely understand that. But even a little bit of context helps. I have tried out many sunscreens and will continue to do so, despite whatever she says. However, it’s just not a helpful or clear phraseology.
I think Dr. Dray isn't particularly able to give a specidic range or context because as a scientist, there is no internationally approved range of lightness or darkness of skin color and most people's experiences with products may vary even between seasons (summer vs winter). Would be safer to say her most common comparison is her own skin and she tries to show conparisons when swatching the product. Even if she's a Fitzpatrick type III, having a different skin undertone can give another person a different experience with the product she is showing.
OMG U MADE MY DAY DR. DRAY I WAS SLEEPING WATCHING FROM 1-11 DURATION TIME BUT WHEN U MENTIONED PHILIPPINES MY WIG FLEW FINALLY A PRODUCT FOR TROPICAL CLIMATE. ILY!!
Hi dr I am loving the colorscience. Universal sunscreen underneath i have been using their calming primer underneath and its great. I love the drmtlgy one but I noticed the tinted one gets a bit dark on me , perhaps I will try the untitled version one day . Have a great weekend 🤩🤩
Thank you so much for pointing me in the direction of the Japanese Bioré UV Milk (“for kids”), it is the BEST sunscreen I’ve ever tried, it sits AMAZINGLY on top of my skincare products and I’d imagine it’s amazing under makeup. The Skin Aqua Moisture Gel isn’t bad at all either, it’s just more of a body sunscreen for me but it’s definitely more than doable as a face sunscreen as well, no question. I will definitely keep purchasing both for sure! Thank you so much, keep being a life changer hun! 💋♥️
I LOVE Skin Aqua. However, I did find out this sunscreen has been discontinued & replaced by different products: a new Super Moisture Gel (octinoxate, tinosorb s, uvinul t 150) & Super Moisture Gel Gold (octinoxate, tinosorb s, uvinul a plus). Any thought on the new products’ filters? 🙂
My favourite sunscreen here in the UK is Sun Sense DAILY Face SPF 50+. I add in a small pot the Beauty Without Cruelty loose powder with the said sunscreen to make it a bit matte. Great combo and it blends well with my skin
I use the SolRx zinc sunscreen. It's definitely not for everyone. It is goopy, leaves a mild cast, and is sticky. That being said, I have very acne-prone skin, and it is one of the few sunscreens that doesn't break me out so I have been using it for years. Also, I am more fair skinned so I don't mind the mild cast and have learned to not apply it when my face is moist to prevent the stickiness from interfering with the application process.
Dr Dray can you do an updated sebderm video please? I’ve seen people preaching about using diluted vinegar (acetic acid) to destroy biofilm and then an anti-fungal like azelaic acid and MCT oil to maintain. I’d love to know your thoughts, I’m having the worst flare up of my life right now and willing to try anything 😖
I am in love with the CVS zinc lotion!! I love the glow and I have barely any cast, I'm paler than Casper the ghost though. But jeez I love it and love the finish. So moisturizing and I love a cheap yet effective good sunscreen. I also use the melt in sunscreen milk by LRP, drmtlgy sunscreens, some of the japanese sunscreens you reviewed, and elta md of course. I only buy things you recommend. Thank you Dr. Dray!! You are amazing and have truly transformed my skin and how I need to protect it.
When she said “Philippines”, I was like, 🙋🏻♀️🙌🏼🙌🏼. Currently using TIZO 3 Tinted SPF 40, but I would like to try out the Avéne Mineral Tinted SPF or Supergoop’s CC cream SPF 35.
Late response to this video! Based on Genevieve Fields' review, I did get the 50 Megumi UV cream. It does not bother my skin, in fact, in a dry climate, in winter, it feels moisturizing and protecting. I usually only apply my first layer of this, then something lighter weight on top to bring up the SPF. It does not sting my eyes, whereas most sunscreens do. It does not settle in wrinkles on my old wrinkly face. I can see how someone younger than 60, who does not have dry skin might not appreciate it, but I actually love it. I am 75. It IS sticky, but does dry down. I probably will not be able to use it in Summer, though.
Thank you for enlighten us with every video. The number of skin care products I use has reduced drastically. Do you believe in antioxidant serums? Are they nrcessary/worth it? Especially if you are using tretinoin for age prevention?
My all time favorite drugstore mineral sunscreen is Aveeno baby continuous protection SPF 50. . It’s moisturizing,, but not too shiny. The cast dries down, and leaves skin with a beautiful finish. I’ve become a sunscreen junky lately (think you Dr Dray), and this is a great one.
I like Olay sensitive sunscreen spf30, have used it for years and just keep coming back to it. It's so light, and never pills. I wish I could find a mineral sunscreen I like as much.
Yayy!! Sending love from Philippines Dr. Dray 💕 So glad you got a recommendation for us. It really is tough to find the good sunblock with the heat and humidity here.
The new sunscreen from Belo called Reef Safe is in my opinion one of the best sunscreen in PH right now. It has 4 UV filters - Zinc, Titanium Dioxide, Tinosorb A2B and Uvinul T 150. Fragrance free, water resistant and very affordable price.
Vivier Skin Sunscreen Lotion SPF 30 is one of my favourites! It doesn't leave much of a cast. I find it a little shiny but don't mind it. Sits well under makeup too.
Dr. Dray, I’m a Black woman with medium brown skin (like a milk chocolate bar). I don’t wear makeup and rely heavily on my natural glow. I don’t like anything matte or anything that leaves a cast...at all. I’ve found a sunscreen called Black Girl Sunscreen and I LOVE IT. The thing is that while it has SPF 30, I’m not sure that it has the protection that I need. What do you think abt Black Girl Sunscreen?
I continue to use and love the Eucerin SPF 30 facial sunscreen, because it feels great on the skin and goes on really well. I've used it for years. When I wear makeup, there are no issues with pilling and I can even mix a little with my makeup and apply it after an initial layer has absorbed into my skin and dried. Since watching your videos, I apply more than one layer of the lotion, and I reapply it more often. I will probably try the Cerave daily sunscreen for the face, and I'm tempted to try some of the tinted sunscreens you've mentioned. But they will have to really be great in order for me to switch.
I just purchased the DRMTLGY spf in both the clear and universal tinted and I would agree the smell is somewhat off putting. I was wondering if I got a bad bottle, but the other one smelled the same and now you’ve confirmed this. I like the qualities of this spf but I’m not sure I will repurchase simply because of the smell. I will probably go back to my loved Olay sensitive spf 30. No scent and it plays well with makeup..
I use that laroche posay sunscreen you reviewed, than put the tinted version of it over top. I agree it’s not very moisturizing so thought I’d try that Purito one you reviewed recently. You do the best most thorough reviews and I have never been steered wrong so thank you thank you! Stay well
I’ve recently started using the Cerave ultra light moisturizing lotion spf 30 and I love it!! I seem to be too white and cool to handle any tint even though I keep trying.. I have given several of your tinted recommendations to my mom 😊
I use the Olay spf 30 sensitive skin moisturizer followed by the exuviance spf 45, both of which you recommended a while ago. They are smooth, moisturizing and don’t pill. I put IT cc cream over them for work to hide some dark spots. Thanks for reviewing sunscreens for us. It really helps.😎
"Sticky icky. After all I'm Dr. Dray: LOL!! ! And we love you! Thanks for the videos! I've found so many wonderful products that are efficacious because of you! And I have learned to get and keep my rosacea under control because of your recommendations.
Thank you Dr. Dray! Pretty please do a video on your most favorite Japanese Moisturizers! I would love to have your recommended ones to put on top of the hada labo plumping gel ... hope to hear back!
I’m loving Sunsense Ultra 50+ in Australia for body. As well as Cancer Council Sensitive (no white cast At all). My favourite face sunscreen is Paulas choice resist anti wrinkle defense.
I love the Australia Gold tinted face sunscreen. Physical blockers and a great finish. It does have eucalyptus extract, but I haven’t found it problematic, and my skin can be pretty reactive. Oily skin folks might not like it, but I’m dry and it’s fabulous.
I use a moisturizer with a broad spectrum SPF 30 mineral sunscreen that has zinc oxide 4.3% and titanium Dioxide 3%, it also has feverfew and is also fragrance free, it's called Aveeno Active Naturals Ultra-Calming Daily Moisturizer. I paid $23 at a beauty supply play for a 2.3 oz so you should check it out.
I don't know if it is available in the US, but I can recommend the Bioderma Photoderm Nude Touch SPF50+. It is all mineral, with clearly a lot of zinc, since it is the first ingredient on the list. It is tinted (has iron oxides) and there are I believe three different tints to choose from, which is great. It is waterproof. Not too greasy, not too drying. Fragrance free. My only complaint is that the tint rubs off on our hands or textiles.
Personally, i don't like that one because it is so difficult to remove it. Plus, it is too pigmented ! How can someone use the right amount of sunscreen with such strong tint.
I have used Cotz tinted for face and the sensitive for years but wanted to try the Nuture My Body and the All Good sunscreen butter in the tin non tinted and now they are my favorite. I prefer mineral sunscreens as they aren't toxic and follow EWG for clean products. I also like the light white cast as my skin has a reddish /yellow tone to it due to years of sunning when I was young and it bring on a light pale color to my face.
I have Kerotosis Pilaris and your videos have been super helpful and informative. Im brown and just ordered the elta tinted sunscreen for dry skin after watching one of your videos. I hope it works me. It’s been a hassle trying to find a sunscreen that works for me. I’m currently using a sunscreen by SkinScope recommended by my dermatologist in India that works perfectly for me but sadly isn’t available in the US.
I can't remember if you've checked it out already, but I tried a sample of Farmacy Green Defense Daily Mineral Sunscreen SPF 30 (5.82% Zinc Oxide / 2.4% Titanium Dioxide) and I really love it. It has tons of great reviews on Sephora's website, with the only real complaint being that folks wish it had a higher SPF (me included!), and I don't think it's water/sweat resistant.
Love these sunscreen reviews, Dr Dray. As an extremely fair-skinned and freckled person living in a very sunny area, I get a lot out of these sunscreen reviews. Just ordered both Omi Veridios you reviewed, tried to order the Skin Aqua, but it was sold out, used your code. Thank you!
Dr Dray, Have you reviewed bug dopes before? I have mosquito bites that itch for days. They bite me a lot so I tend to wear long pants and sleeves all summer long. I use bug dope but I certainly would be interested to hear about the chemical and skin interactions and if there is something I am missing. Thank you for your time!
Currently alternating between CVS clear zinc which I love for the creamy vehicle and non-greasy, and Banana Boat Simply Protect Sensitive 50+ which is a combo lotion sunscreen -- Homosalate 9%, Octisalate 4.5%, Octocrylene 6%, Zinc Oxide, 7.3%. Have you reviewed BB? BB also not too greasy (oil free), maybe tiny bit more than CVS zinc.
@@perrie4672 I don't know the facts about percentages and how they work. I think the most important thing with sunscreen is to apply enough of it, which is usually more than we think is necessary. :) Watch Dr. Dray and how she applies it. Also, she appears to use at least 2 layers (non-tinted & tinted) for a *first* application of the day. The CVS Zinc gives great coverage because it's a relatively thick cream, similar to CeraVe in the tub, if you're familiar with it.
I want to know what you recommend for treating hypopigmentated scars. I have been dealing with hypopigmentation from acne and chemical peel scarring on my face for a few years now, I find myself always using concealer and make up to hide it. I have seen plenty of doctors about it and most of them did not know what to do. One doctor recommended trying latisse combined with light therapy, that is the only feasible treatment option I have heard of so far.
Wow a good review of the different types of sunscreens you've been using. I still use the CeraVe a.m. moisturizing cream on my face with the Neutrogena with helioplex on top although for some reason that's beginning to pill. For my body I'm using the banana boat simply sensitive but then I have some that I don't like as much that I put on my legs or arms when they are exposed and then there's the one with the horrible white cast that I'm not quite certain what to do with but great to wear now while at home
I loved your recommendation of Elta MD SPF 41 tinted for the face - hard to improve on that one! And, the Altruist is the best for the neck and ears and arms and forehead, etc. It's really hard to beat that recommendation of yours. I use it all - all, all, all - the time. The super-moisturizing aspect of it is ideal for the neck and hands and arms. And there is no cast.
I have recently discovered Dermaveen SPF50+ moisturiser and it is the best I have found to date! Not casty, not greasy, and I can even use it on my eyelids without it migrating into my eyes (I have greasy eyelids). I went back and bought two more bottles while it's on sale haha.
I bought the drmtlgy anti-aging spf but the cast was to much. I felt like a ghost. So I bought the Universal tint version and it’s to dark. I ended up mixing the two for a perfect match. My favorite sunscreen now. I can wear makeup over it , and it looks very pretty.
What are your thoughts on chemical sunscreens and breastfeeding? I read that breastfeeding moms should not us chemical sunscreens for fear of passing small amounts of chemical filters onto their babies.
@@Luvanmusiq I did not, since I was already using a physical sunscreen when I found out I was pregnant, but I also wonder what she thinks of chemical sunscreens during pregnancy, as well as breastfeeding.
Rohto skin aqua no longer available on Yesstyle website today, maybe they are sold out, but it says no longer available. I use the cheaper, zinc oxide based sunscreens YOU recommended from CVS and the baby one from Walgreens, and they are great. I don't mind the white cast at all. Doesn't bother me because I don't see it. I love your videos. Thank you.
Cerave SA cleanser has REALLY worked for me, dr Dray recommended. I really focus going in circular motions around my nose and T-zone with a *slightly* heavy hand. My blackheads are now almost non existent!
Boots Soltan Sensitive Protect facial SPF50 chemical sunscreen from the UK is my absolute HG. Goes on beautifully, no cast and non-greasy after it sinks in, inexpensive, has the highest UVA rating, no fragrance, suitable for eczema and rosacea sufferers, has shea butter... amazing sunscreen. Best European ss IMO, and better even than most Japanese.
Hi Dr. Dray! Quick question if you're able; my 8 year old is showing signs of clogged pores on her already dry, flaky nose. I usually just use the cerave cream after I wash her face with plain water, but should I change anything with that routine, like introducing a mild cream cleanser? I don't use anything but water on her face
I'm not dr dray 😅 but you should use a sunscreen on your child and a cleanser too, cerave has a cleanser made for babies! that one is very gentle, watch susan yaras latest video on skincare for her children, she explains everything she uses :)
I live in the Philippines and I can vouch how great the OMI Verdio UV Moisture Gel is. Definitely my favorite sunscreen!
“it’s not subtle. it’s obvious.” i felt that difference between de-caff and caffeinated coffee right in my heart ☕️
☕☕☕☕
For future sunscreen videos, could you swatch the tinted ones so we can get an idea of how light or dark they are?
Spencer Chidley yesss please!!!!
Honestly, I hate zinc sunscreens no matter what. They are *always* casty, always thick and goopy and never absorb into the skin like chemical ones.
Harrison Khoury same I feel like they move and always transfer to my clothes
Goddess Garden, the pink one is not casty

I’d love to see you do a review on Biossance’s new “Squalane + Zinc Sheer Mineral Sunscreen.” It’s described as a lightweight, deeply hydrating broad spectrum spf 30 lotion, without any white cast. But as someone with dry skin, it sounds too good to be true.

Where did you find it?
@@johnmg95 probably shopee..
I also found the Skin Aqua uv super moisture gel spf 50+ PA++++ in shopee too..
Personally, I do not have super oily skin. But the skin aqua one makes me feel and look GREEASYY.
Happy Friday Dr Dray! I use the DRMTLGY sunscreen and I love it. The scent does not bother me at all. Works very well with makeup!
Yes. Drmtlgy has great ingredients but it pills like crazy under make up. It's unfortunate.
You have GOT to review ULTRASUN!
Fantastic. Do you have a fair or darker skin tone? Does it leave a sticky greasy film? Ok for oily skin?
jam6web || I have a medium skin tone, and I don’t find it to be greasy at all!
That being said I think i'm still going to go ahead and try it soon because it seems super promising! ty! ♥
I would love a review of the Dear Klairs soft airy UV essence!
I really love the LRP mineral on my rosacea prone skin something calming about it. Even more so than other mineral blocks.
Yay, thank you so much ❤️ Sending hugs from the Philippines 💞
I have VERY dry facial skin and the Skin Aqua was wonderful on my face. Wore well under make-up.
Just putting in another request for an e.l.f. Holy Hydration! face cream fragrance free review :) Vegan, cruelty-free.
Omandita4 yes ! I love that moisturizer 💚
Please Dr Dray:)
And the happy hydration one please dr dray!!
I just learned that all ELF products are made in China. I won’t buy anymore. 😔
I’m always on the hunt for a drugstore spf 50 with no cast! And of course fragrance free one! Going to pick up the cvs one.
Try Australian gold sunscreen..love it
I’m all about that Skin Aqua. ☕️⭐️☕️⭐️👌🏻
So glad you like it!! Happy Friday :)
Dr Dray if not for you I’d have zero knowledge of Skin Aqua 👍🏻
Some people are extremely sensitive to caffeine and can’t drink it but still want to enjoy coffee
Lol! I agree with you about the coffee!! I need my caffeine!! Happy Friday, Uncle Charlie! Hope you had a wonderful day! ☕☕☕
Mary Lawman Happy Friday! ☀️ I love coffee but I don’t drink the oceanic amount I used to!
Dray too.
Which one do you think it's the best for oily skin?
@Diana Moore Thank you. We've been on lockdown for 3 weeks, but a lot of people are not following guidelines. I want this to be over :(
I am sorry to hear and I know it is a very sad and scary time
People say, “If you have a darker skin tone,” so often.
Been waiting for the Verdio sunscreen review Thank you Dr Dray you’re the best
I LOVE Skin Aqua. However, I did find out this sunscreen has been discontinued & replaced by different products: a new Super Moisture Gel (octinoxate, tinosorb s, uvinul t 150) & Super Moisture Gel Gold (octinoxate, tinosorb s, uvinul a plus). Any thought on the new products’ filters? 🙂
I was REALLY bummed out when they did that! I had only bought one bottle-and loved it-and when i went to reorder, it had changed!!
I'm confused. Her bottle says Super Moisture Gel
My favourite sunscreen here in the UK is Sun Sense DAILY Face SPF 50+. I add in a small pot the Beauty Without Cruelty loose powder with the said sunscreen to make it a bit matte. Great combo and it blends well with my skin
Your sunscreen videos are my favorite videos!
Asdkfjlasdf Sdfkjsldfkjsdlf would also like to see a video on this. But I doubt there are any studies supporting using vinegar on your face lmao
My very favorite everyday sunscreen is the EltaMD UV Clear SPF 46. I love the clear Zinc. Doesn’t leave a cast at all.
About to go on my walk! Thanks for reminding me to put on sunscreen!
I like Olay sensitive sunscreen spf30, have used it for years and just keep coming back to it. It's so light, and never pills. I wish I could find a mineral sunscreen I like as much.
Angela Pickett Me too. It plays well under makeup also.
Just bought the sensitive blue lizard mineral sunscreen today
Hello @@jam6web84 ! Wow thank you so much for this 💕 I will definitely try it out.
I would love to hear your opinion on the EVY sunscreens if you've tried them.
Nonnitot i am sooo curious about them too because of the claim that they last 6 hrs. I want to test them under uv light. XD
I always love the sunscreen videos. Thank you :)
Glad you like them!
Happy Friday!! Hope You Have a Great Weekend!!
Thank you Dr. Dray! Pretty please do a video on your most favorite Japanese Moisturizers! I would love to have your recommended ones to put on top of the hada labo plumping gel ... hope to hear back!
I'm loving.... Daphin, DRMTLGY, Exuivance, Cotz and Color Science. I haven't open the bottle of Clinique Prep Start yet.
the skinaqua sunscreen by rohto is my suncreen so far! but i want to try the purito unscented sunscreen after lots of mentions of it
What's the difference between skin aqua water gel sunscreen vs the essence version?
I’m loving Sunsense Ultra 50+ in Australia for body. As well as Cancer Council Sensitive (no white cast At all). My favourite face sunscreen is Paulas choice resist anti wrinkle defense.
Yes I'm using the super moisture gel skin aqua it's the best for my face !!!
Been using the DRMTLGY 45 for about a month, and I really love it!
I’m going to cvs to get the zinc sunscreen!! Can’t wait!
Thank you!
Skin Aqua is truly a gift from the heavens!! I wish it came in a jumbo size for me to slather on my body during the hot summers.
BB also not too greasy (oil free), maybe tiny bit more than CVS zinc.
hello! is the 5% of zinc on the cvs one too low for spf?
Would you say lotions with spfs are good too? Considering my skin doesn't love spfs cos they seem to be very oilier on my combo skin😍
Thanks doc
Your skin glows!! 👏
René Garlinghouse I’m curious too! I tried to stop before becoming pregnant even. Failed it. Did you use chem while pregnant?
@@Luvanmusiq I did not, since I was already using a physical sunscreen when I found out I was pregnant, but I also wonder what she thinks of chemical sunscreens during pregnancy, as well as breastfeeding.
Rohto skin aqua no longer available on Yesstyle website today, maybe they are sold out, but it says no longer available. I use the cheaper, zinc oxide based sunscreens YOU recommended from CVS and the baby one from Walgreens, and they are great. I don't mind the white cast at all. Doesn't bother me because I don't see it. I love your videos. Thank you.
Hiii dr Dray!! I have a question, can you do a video about how to get rid of blackheads on your nose?? And do you recommend curology??😊
You use a cleanser with salycylic acid on it. Keep it on your nose for like a few minutes then wash it off.
Cerave SA cleanser has REALLY worked for me, dr Dray recommended. I really focus going in circular motions around my nose and T-zone with a *slightly* heavy hand. My blackheads are now almost non existent!
i have a video on blackheads on the nose, as well as several other blackhead videos
Shurman Dan thank you so much for your help and time!👍🏼
Jasmine Pacheco thank you so much for your help and time!👍🏼
Dr. Drag! Can I use the curel fragrance free lotion on my face?
Loveeee that md solar science one! It’s amazing
