Build a lightweight adventure bike
That's why I bought mt 24' KTM 690 SMC R....That is about as lightweight as you can get for low maintenance supermoto/dual sport. that you can tour on.
I think if you got a real dual sport. Maybe a KTM exc-f 350 or a husqvarna fe350 and started doing dual sport adventures or trail riding that would draw alot of attention to the channel. You could diversify from you street riding and add a whole flavor and demographic of rider to you channel. Plus people would really be engaged with your journey in learning off road riding.
I already had a "real dual sport" with a WR250R. My YZ450FX is a dual sport too with SHinko 705 ADV tires. My KTM will be a dual sport when I put on a set of Shinko 705 tires. The KTM Excf-350 is in the same category as the YZ450FX, a high maintenance bike, not a bike you can tour on.
Track days, dirt/trails, or off-road exploration. Any of those would be great! H-D would be too polarizing, imho, and doesn't seem like "you".

@@CycleCruza I think the gear is a non-issue. I think HD performance would just be supremely disappointing for you. You would be much happier on a muscle cruiser like the M109R or a second gen VMax. However, those would very similar to the XDiavel you had so not sure what they might bring to the channel.
Try the MT10. I've had an FZ10 since 2017 and still love it. I've been watching you for about 10 years and still enjoy your content, man. Keep it going, Cycle.
Keep the MT-07 and explore what your bikes can do. Track days would be a huge expansion (Mx or supermoto/go kart track). But sharing in life is, in my opinion, the best part of your channel.
I wish I could find a cool supermoto (hybrid) track not too far from me with some tight twisties and dirt jumps. That looks the most fun to me. I'm pretty much an open book on my channel, just share everything I experience. It has been a fun journey. Thanks for being a viewer, I appreciate it.

Honda Goldwing, but make sure to get a skid plate. Maybe see if a dealer will let you try one and in return you mention their business. So test rides might be a good way to add content without buying bikes.

I always wanted to do a 500 2 stroke supermoto but then I realize it may not be the greatest on the street. lol I'll mess around and burn out the engine. That is why I went with the YZ450FX supermoto build, most epic bike I ever owned in my life. 450's are so wicked.
Totally understandable. That would be expensive to burn out a 500 two stroke engine. Lol. I just got a 2003 CR250 two stroke. I’m still learning a lot as there’s different maintenance procedures and it’s not made to cruise at long distances at same rpm or no engine braking for long down hill periods. If it doesn’t work out for me maybe I’ll sell it and pick up a used 450 dirt bike converted supermoto. Looks so fun when you’re riding man.😊

I feel you on the surron. I love my talaria sting r but I gravitate more towards my zx6r in the garage. I would like to add a supermoto. Thinking about selling the sting r for a supermoto. Also get the MT10. Can’t beat that engine. The guy that said “how are things on the moon?” is a fool and definitely got clowned on lol
Definitely get a supermoto, however, you might turn into a hooligan. 🤣 Yeah that Harley employee was foul. It wasn't too long after that video that he got canned and the dealership was sold. 😂 That clip was pretty popular in some videos I did in the past so I'm sure they caught wind of it.

1290 Super Duke R Now that you have ridden/owned a modern KTM it’s time. You’ve talked about that bike for more years than I can remember just like the supermoto and just like the 690 which you now love both. Plus after a couple mods those bikes look and sound even more insane. TheKilaCam on RUclips has some awesome videos on one that you must watch.

Get what you want 👍I just got my first bike, I know I probably should've got a 300 or 400, but I got a 690 smcr. I was eyeing it for a while and you seem to really enjoy it. I'm also past the stage in my life where I think I'm invincible so I respect my limitations. I really like the MT-09 SP, I know they're totally different, but if I could get another bike it would probably be that one, or the Ducati Hypermotard. That one's pretty awesome too.
Maybe wait for the r9? You haven’t had a sport bike since the cbr1000 DOUBLE RRRR, same cp3 engine as the mt09. I think it would be great for the channel

That mt09 sp is one of the best rated bikes. The 21 plus models are completely different from the one that you owned. Forget the content. It will be one of the best bikes you have owned.

If you're going to replace the MT-07 with something, move up the stream to GSX-8S. 88 hp and 66 ft-lb torque at the wheel with a tune. Same barking torque, same engine config, just a lot more of it, better suspension.

I just bought a cb650r. Reminds me a lot of the mt-07 and what you say regarding safe fun speeds. Exept the 12,000 rpm limit is way higher revving. Mabye you would enjoy the same engine size with different gearing.

Mt07 is still one of my favorite bikes to ride. But the 690 while a different beast is 700cc class so getting something bigger would give more difference between bikes. But just keep or get what ever your going to enjoy riding.

I rode the MT10 SP & MT09 SP at Yamaha demo last month. Both were 2023 models, and I preferred the 09. The MT09 engine was much smoother. Try a Husqvarna 401 Svartpilen.
I wouldn’t get rid of the mt07 or the yz but maybe get a smaller dual sport like a 300 and do a little more off roading

I feel like you should get something that would be a breath of fresh air to the channel. An MT09 and MT10 are just more powerful upright street bikes. I don't think you'd enjoy a Harley either, they're just heavy, noisy and slow. An Energica could be interesting but it would most likely suffer the same fate as the suron lol. I say get what you think would be best. Maybe snag that H2 you bring up every now and then lol.

Is there a big difference from mt07 to mot09 to mt09 except power? Seems same bike just faster. If you want your mt07 to be faster then go for it. That KTM is beautiful though!
Get a Triumph scrambler or the rocket, I have both and they are amazing bikes!
Thing is going from a base MT09 to a MT09 SP is definitely a good move. I found that the upgrades the SP has over the base model is worth the price bump. Still going from a base MT09 to a MT07 then back to a MT09 even if it's a SP model, it be kinda like a sideways move for the channel. If you were thinking about touring I'd suggest go for the MT10 SP and kit it out with luggage so you can travel long distance. You look at it now you got 3 hooligan bikes already CycleCruza. So maybe a touring bike is due.
Yeah I can add much new content with the new MT-09SP. It has to be a totally new and different bike. I don't have time for touring at this time but maybe in the future. This home renovation is sucking up my time, I'll be glad when it is done.

Another unique experience would be a two stroke 300 SM conversion. They are meant for hard Enduro, but goddang they are VERY fun to rip on the road. Mine wheelies up with the throttle all the way to 3rd gear.
I nearly did that once but I figured I'd have issues with a 2 stroke on the street so I got a YZ450FX instead. I don;t think a 2 300cc stroke could top the fun I have on my YZ, that sumagun still scares me. lol Them 450cc race dirt bikes are the truth.

How about the Honda transalp. It looks pretty decent and not crazy expensive. Also it's brand new and you haven't had an adventure bike and it's not too big or heavy.

Much as I am old school and prefer a cable opposed to ride by wire the new Honda hornet cb 750 hornet with its skinny back tire makes its handling off the charts good
I agree, one of the reasons I love the MT-07. However, I will say the ride by wire throttle on this KTM 690 SMC R is nice, I forgot it had one. lol E-throttles are getting better and better.
What about the new Indian scout 101 looks awesome and a nice change to the other bikes
