Great video- easy to view and nice step by step that gets you from point A to point B. The process for disconnecting the pigtail at the sensor was the only weak link. I see in the comments that others have inquired about this. I assume your response was about prying up the yellow insert to be able to remove the connector. Showing the exact process, in video, to pry up the insert and remove the connector would be helpful and complete the whole process. Thank you for posting! I have been working on cars for over 40 years, but when I need to do something new the first place I go to is the internet :)

I am having this issue now and Lexus Canada doesnt seem to have any WEP for it. Atleast thats what my dealership said. There are however some people reporting they recieved mail from lexus canada regarding this issue. idk
Yes, it took me quite some tome to get mine repaired by dealer, even with the mail notice from Lexus headquarters. Recalls can be funky sometimes. I've seen them taking care of the known issues in two-year segments. So it could be they didn't officially released recall your your car, especially if it is newer model. You can also try to contact Canada Lexus HQ directly and tell them you have this issue, and you've heard some other owners got this covered.
Also, Im making video about my Highlander brake booster recall. I didn't have a letter from Toyota, but I found that letter online and printed it out. I took my car to dealer and they still fixed the issue for free. Whats funny is, I got a letter from Toyota two weeks after got the repair done.
There was a recall only for certain years and models of Lexus cars, but not all of them. Unfortunately, if you are not on that list, they will likely not cover this repair.

I know different electrical connectors have certain little tricks to unplug them. I can’t get mine unplugged and I don’t want to pull on it too hard. Can you let me know how or post a short video?
So it looks like I asked and answered my own question. You need to pull out the small yellow plug out with a small flat blade screwdriver and then the main plug will come out. Thanks for posting. I hope this works

It was a different style plug that connected to the knee air bag in my 2010 4Runner. Thanks for the help. It has not come back on after about 8 starts!

Mine has a problem with Speed Sensor circuit....
Start with reading the error code, it will give you a good idea where the problem is.
Seems like that blue splice clip could be part of the problem?

Call your closest dealer. They can look it up by VIN if your car.

What if it says passenger airbag on Ls460 2008
Could be a passenger detection sensor. I had that problem too. I have a video about it on my channel...
